Now, I've been rather indifferent towards FPS's as of late, but even then, this concerns me. EA has just been getting more and more nasty, to the point where many consider it to be the "dictator" of the video game market. If we let them continue this, soon it'll be out of control. And what concerns me the most... What if they do something like this to Spore? x_x

So please, for the sake of all, support the BF:BC Boycott. :hello:

I'm not gonna put anything in my signature because I like how compact and organized mine is... but I am so with this.

Bungie Studios should rule the video game industry. VIVA LA BUNGIE. DOWN WITH EA.

So, should this belong in the current events thread or not?

No. This is worthy of it's own thread, no?

Okay, under this logic we can definitely shrink GD down to a more managable size.

What Book/Movie/ Music are you looking at or listening to can be merged into on SUPER AWESOME FUN HAPPY thread!

Anything serious can go into a SUPER SAD UNHAPPY MELANCHOLY thread!

Different and off-beat stories can go into a SUPER RANDOM WEIRDNESS thread!

...

Am I making any sense?

And furthermore, Current Events is more serious and political-like, or at least that's how it looks to me.

No offense to Kamekai (I'm behind this as much as a person who's too poor for a serious gaming system can be), but this isn't on the same league as vaccines accidentally causing Autism.

I'm JesusFreak and I totally wasn't on NyQuil when I approved this message!

Just because one company is rulling the market dosn't mean that it should be boycotted. I'll listen and maybe stob buying EA games when the gov't goes after them for a monopoly. Untill then, good luck

I'm actually rather offended in the manner of which you presented the message. I never tried to offend anyone (I apologize if I came off as rude and/or demanding), and I was wondering whether or not it should be in current events. I actually was contemplating asking it as it did seem vague to be put in a current event thread.

I found it hilarious, JF. xD And Sechton Ningbenter, you set yourself up on that one for trying to minimod when there's no need. >.>

Nooooowww then, back on t3h topic.

@timekitten: EA is a big-time developer. I'm sure that you've seen some of their stuff before, as they are a video game tycoon. And they're starting to overstep their boundries. >.>

Knifeshock, we're doing just fine, thank you.

I'm not exactly sure how much good a boycott would do, unless it was on a MASSIVE scale (although this looks like it could reach it) but I will say this: I don't like EA. I never have, and I never will. This is just another drop in the bucket of crap they've done, and I fail to be surprised anymore by the shenanigans they keep pulling.

Happy now? EA has dropped the idea completely.

According to Troedsson, the fact that certain weapons were listed as “purchasable through Xbox Live” in the beta was due to a “internal miscommunication” with the development team.

o_O Man, EA's starting to sound like Sony. xD I don't believe for a second that the uproar didn't have something to do with it. >.>

But anyways... YAYZ!!! =D We have won the battle!
