Hey everyone, i'm doing a light work out and i need to know what else i could do to get stronger with just dumbbells, i'm doing 300 sit ups and curls(curls with 15 pound weights) and 100 push ups, all in one day, usually in about 2 hours. but obviously not all at once, so what else could i add to get stronger. with just dumbbells? and obviously anything not involving dumbbells but just free hands.

Don't forget core training! Building up the outer muscle layers while neglecting the spine, etc, increases the risk of injury. Your body is heavier, but the support isn't.

alright besides the random stuff, what would be some good core work outs? , and how much would 20 pound ankle weights and 15 pound wrist weights help if i leave them on all day? like for a 12 hour period, and walk for 3 hours, one hour each time, and rest for 30 minutes. and throw punches for the same time as i walk. not doing it while walking but still same times.

Does your school have conditioning for football or some other sport? Usually (at least at my school), if you know someone in the team, they can bring you along to workout with them. I'm sure the coach can come up with a suitable routine for you, since we have no idea how your are now.

I have a simple stretching routine I run through once or twice a day. 10-sec push-up descent, 30-sec cobra, 30-sec downward dog, repeat. Throw in a few push-ups there, then get up, do 30 arm circles each way, try to touch my toes & hold for a bit, then do the floor exercises again. Push-ups are easier the second time, usually. I also try for ~30-50 crunches (not sit-ups).

Whole thing takes ~5 minutes.

i might go for that tangent, might change it up a little possibly, not sure. but sounds really good, thanks a million. just got to get motivated to work out again. oddly enough, been to mad to work out, like it's actually just to the point where i stopped caring, but yeah, i will try that work out routine when i get motivated again.
