Or not...^^; This is a thread to talk about one of the creepiest, most awesome shows on TV: FRINGE
WHy is it awesome?
It deals with science and the nerds are the heros, like in Code Lyoko.
Walter Bishop is played by John Noble, who was Denathor- Boramir and Farimer's bias and insane father- in the Lord of the Rings.
It can be scary as all anything, but really messes with your head.
And, for us girls, the main charicter Oliva Dunhum kicks TOTALY bad guy butt.
Does anybody else like this show?!

One of my friends used to be addicted to that show...she even did a podcast. Haha....

I find it to be a knock-off of X-Files, so I don't watch it...

John Noble hosts Dark Matters: Twisted But True on le Science Channel.....Ummm...I like that...

He does? John Noble is epic. I mean, he was Denathor in LOTR, and then he comes on as the mad scientest with a hilarous heart....he's epic. The show scares the crap outta me though...^^;

I have had yet to meet anyone else into this show. It's really only one of the two shows I'm seriously keeping up with right now.

Confusing as all heck, as usual. I like the golden universe,but I miss the old Livy....^^;The last episode with the town being jammed together between universes freaked me out, but it was awesome.
I just hope the one nice observer doesn't get offed by the others...

That ending has me curious. Something clearly affected Olivia in that town.

I am also sensing some unrest amongst the observers, perhaps?

The observers are epic...although I think the nice one might be bumped off.....^^;

Off and on, sadly. ^^; I got mad at the show a while back- I don't remeber why, and am trying to get back into the habbit of watching it again. UNtil I heard Henretta died.... Now no one will tell me what's happened ^^;

That I tottaly agree with. The whole thing with the observers being evil in this last season totally werided me out- I liked Septemeber! But they're certainly creepy and evil enough now....O.o....

Series finale was last night. It could have been better, but it could have been a hell of a lot worse (looking at you, LOST). Very, very emotional (if rushed) ending. Sad to see Fringe is over now. Walter Bishop was, without a doubt, the greatest television character in the past half-decade, and the worst part of Fringe being over is that where is no more John Noble as Walter.

I totally agree with you about Walter. One of the best father, not to mention mad genius charicters, to ever grace the TV screen. I didn't see the whole thing, but I know what happened. I'm just relieved that Astrid didn't die. And Broyals (although he techniclly did die...just in the other universe...or something ) It's all so confusing, but they tried to bring back references to the early, creepier grosser Fringe, which was good.
Poor September. He was just cool....
Okay, quick question. The tulip thing on Walter's note in the end. I can't remeber. Are the tulip's a reference from the summer home from when Peter was a kid and him and Walter were trying re-bond....or was it from other side and there was a huge tulip field outside their house or something....

YOu know what's fun though? Those little short fan Q & A segments with the actors. I didn't know Olivia had such a lovely accent in real life. John Noble's accent is awesome too. They're all so cute!! SO happy when not off saving the world and destroying monsters and baldies...

pretty good finale. i'm very glad that it didn't have a completely happy unambiguous let's-all-ride-into-the-sunset ending. and the last shot? perfect. it did have a few weak moments but overall, it as everything i was hoping it would be.

and lucy, i think the tulip was sent from a doctor that was traveling through time to stop the accident that killed his wife. walter took it as a sign of forgiveness from god.

So from the point a view of a person who's roommate is starting on Season 2, Fringe is more violent than I thought it would be for a TV show. I've only caught bits in pieces, enough to get a good gist of the first season.
