art forums?

I was thinking of joining a new art forum (all the ones I used to frequent have long since disbanded), but I can't find any that aren't really specialized and/or elitist--was just curious if any of you knew of any good (and smallish) ones.

DeviantArt. Your sister used to be there... ask her about it. She ended up hating it, anyways.

Now that I remember, it's not exactly like an art forum. You post your drawings or art there, and can get comments, reply back and get people faving you for it.

Yeah, that's an archive. I was already on there too (for waaay too long, three years or so), and I left (I could go into the reasoning but it would take a while--lots about ethics)

Drawstick is an excellent fourm and they have art battles every month to spice things up around the place. Usually the thems are pretty out there and mostly video game or comic based.

Here are some of the submissions for the battle and they're WILD. These would be equilalent to Lyoko form characters as their designs are just so out there.

well. they do have an art section where people can post their art, and recieve comments on it, and do the same with other people and such.
