What's the weirdest food that you've eaten?
I'm not that adventurous, so I think the best I can come up with is alligator tail with cheese (it tastes like a cross between fish sticks and chicken... it's good!)

I once ate a cucumber, brussels sprout, and anchovie pizza.

Things I've tried that most of my friends haven't eaten:
elk, rattlesnake, snails, and those little worms you see at the bottom of a bottle of tequila.
of those, my favorites would have to be the snails and the worms.
I had snails (more popularly called escargot) when I went to a French dining restaurant on a class field trip. Myself and my comrades from the 'cool' side of the classroom (that furthest from the door) were all eager to try them. They were prepaperd in a dish made specially for the appetiser, pretty much baked until no longer raw while submerged in a garlic and butter mixture. We all enjoyed it so much that we turned to those nearest us who didn't want theirs and finished those, too.
I realise that in a forum for a television show made in France, this may not seem like wierd food, but here in the states, snails are considered garden pests, not food.
The tequila worm did not come to me from the bottom of a bottle of alcohol. I was on a field trip to the museum of natural science, and the gift shop had a sucker with a worm in the middle. I got to the worm, and it was pleasantly peanutty. I presume they cook the worm in peanut oil. It was crunchy on the outside and chewy in the middle. Quite a treat! I haven't had any since then, mostly because those little worms are hard to come by outside of the bottle, and I really hate tequila.

I don't think I've ever eaten anything especially outrageous before. I've witnessed a few of my friends consuming some *quite* questionable things though. Heh.
