mines "faded" by souldecision. heres da lyrics:

When I get you all alone
I'm gonna move in nice and close
Ain't nobody gonna interrupt my game, oh no
Ever since you've been hangin' around
I've been trying to figure out
What I'm gonna say to you to get something, yeah

Couldn't we do what we did last night
Couldn't baby you and I be better friends
Don't you think it's time we went a bit further, oh yeah
Every night when we say goodbye
how can I help looking in your eyes
Wondering why that you and I haven't hit it
Can we get it on

Chorus:
Kind of faded, but I'm feeling alright
Thinkin' about making my move tonight
I can't pretend that you're only my friend when you're holdin' my body tight
'Cause I like the way you're making your move
I like the way you're making me wait
At the end of the night, I'm gonna make you feel like mine
You'll be coming on home with me, yeah, yeah, yeah

Don't you know you've got it?
And you know I want it
I can't wait to take you home (you know you've got it tonight)
I don't want to be rude at all
I just want to be where you go
Think that we could be alone? (yeah)

Couldn't we do what we did last night
Couldn't baby you and I be better friends
Don't you think it's time we went a bit further, oh yeah
Every night when we say goodbye
How can I help lookin' in your eyes
Wondering why that you and I haven't hit it
Can we get it on

Chorus X5

the song reminds me of nick. hee-hee. little perv.

I know too many songs to really have a favourite.

Small Axe by The Wailers comes close though. But so do a *lot* of others...

Same here. In my opinion, this thread is kinda pointless, unless you wanna siwtch it to the inverse way. Still, there's many options to like and dislike.

It's not the same though... the other thread is about what you're listening to at the current moment, and this is about songs that you like.

Speaking of which, I've got WAYYY too many to count. I guess I'll just paste my fav. artists from my myspace.. does that count? lol

I have hundreds of favorite songs (seriously, I counted). I would have to say that my very favorite is "This Way" by Dilated People/Kanye West or "Bring 'Em Out" by T.I.

I generally like anything that has a cool beat, anything I can dance to (and I don't mean the waltz), anything that I can sing to, and anything that has lyrics that interest me. Hip Hop and Rap are my favorites followed by Dance/Rave/Electronica/Techno. There is some rock that I like too.

I'm just gonna post the lyrics, because somewhere I'm gonna forget and I don't think you'd get theme with just the name
Paper flowers, paper flowers!
Paper flowers, paper flowers!

I linger in the doorway
Of alarm clocks screaming
Monsters calling my name
Let me stay
Where the wind will whisper to me
And the raindrops as their falling tell a story

||:In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullabye
I lay inside myself forever
And watch my purple sky fly over me:||

Don't say I'm out of touch
With this realm of chaos, your reality
I know well what lied beyond my sleeping refuge
But nightmares I built my own world to escape...
(Repeat chorus)

Swirl on wards up in the sunlight screaming Never seace fo the fear of slent night...
Oh how I long for the deep sleep dreaming
Level over of imaginary lights

(Repeat chorus)
Paper flowers, paper flowers!
Paper flowers, paper flowers!

i like this song, because I went to Gunstock mountain, and twisted my ankle, and so I went and rested in the reading room, and this song came on, so I'm singing and people are walking by and when I stop singing I spin around and in the doorway is my crush. He said he thinks my leg is feeling better. And smiled and walked away. I asked his sister to beat him up.

We Like To Party. I have no idea who it is by, but me and my friend used to hum it everytime we walked by eahcother at school, it was like keeping us sane, and it became our song I guess. Now, everytime I hear it, I always think about those awesome times I had last year before I had to move. [We Like To Party also happens to be the song on that 6 flags commercial.... you know the one that old guy dances to?]

I also like Mony Mony by Billy Idol. It's because a little boy named Noah was trying to sing it on a karaoke contest we had once, and he had no idea how it went, so he was just saying it. And we had to teach him to sing it. That one sticks in my mind.

Escapar by Enrique Iglesias is a good one too. I love being able to sing that in spanish AND english. There are tons more that I know by heart, but those are ones that stick out the most in the musical file that I have stored in my head.
¿Qué es poesía?, dices mientras clavas
En mi pupila tu pupila azul.

¡Qué es poesía! ¿Y tú me lo preguntas?
Poesía eres tú.

Isn't that the dancin' bus song?

or mabey I'm thinking of the six flags song. My friend Tara and I will start dancing on the stage when that comes on. One time they had to pull us off. And I can't go up if my skirt is too short. But It's fun.

Not to be off topic, but I don't go to dances with sixth graders in them becasue around here they're so short, and I always wear six-inch heels and a flowy miniskirt, and they're standing up to my knee...

There's this one song I had to learn in chorus, called 'Angels Watchin' Over me' and I absolutely loved it. The end part with the four part harmony was so beautiful.

And another chorus one: 'When christmas comes to town' and a funny one called 'So Baroque at christmas'. In Baroque styles. Buying with plastic oh how drastic credit becomes disaster faster. A lightless christmas tree is waiting there for me my sweet tooth starts to ache for last years dry fruit cake
