Uh.. my "favorite artist" repertoire is very skimpy compared to yours, as most of the time I pay no attention ^-^;

I guess my favorite manga artist would be Hitoshi Okuda, considering his Tenchi series influenced me a lot in developing my own style (even though it's really watered down and American-ized xD)

And.. oh darn.. well I guess I'll edit this as soon as I think up some more.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't Jerome Mouscardet the -producer- for CL?

According to IMDB, he's the director.

And, yeah the Tenchi manga rules. Sometimes it's even better than the anime.

And, well I don't expect everyone's list to be that big. It's just that I always want to know about who made the show/comic/game I like and look it up, and sometimes read interviews etc.

I do wish everyone knew who Kevin Eastman was though. He's awesome.

I did not realize the value of Leo Begsten until he was gone. NO-ONE can capture the essence of Peter Egan's Side Glances columns like he did. ;__;

Dave Berg of MAD magazine was great, too. So was Prohias.

Picasso was supposed to be the genius of the 20th Century, but I think Calder comes close to him, if not surpassing him altogether.

I used to like Liechtenstein until I heard he ripped real comic artists without giving them due credit... crook.

And then of course there's Pininfarina, Bertone, Giugiaro, Anderlioni, Loewy, Stevens, Brock, Bracq, etc...
My LF family:
Mother: StarWay
FairlyOddSister: CBIzumi
Awesome little sister: Mewberries151
Big sister with whom I often quarrel: Linii-chan
Mad scientist little brother: X1
Favourite cousin: Ransomed_Heart
Keeper of heraldic arms: Doggiegal (actually, I do my own coat of arms now...)

all welcome in Room#420

My favorite artists are:

Viggo Mortensen: his photography, painting, poetry, and spoken word are phenomenal.

Mark Ryden: a little on the shock-value side of things, but I adore him.

Kaori Yuki: the artist who draws Angel Sanctuary. I saw the first three episodes on an English dvd and decided to own the entire set of manga in Japanese even though I can't read it. The pictures are so pretty!

Brian Froud: his concept art for The Dark Crystal is mindblowing.

Kevin Smith: the man's just a genius.

Peter Jackson: admit it, he did great things with those books.

Kevin Martin: lead singer for a band from the 90s called Candlebox. his solo effort is just a awesome.

Peter Klett: guitarist for Candlebox. his solo effort is also good, but the man can work his guitar!

music-wise, there's also whoever deserves credit for Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana, as I'm aware that various minds met to create each song.

Mort Kunstler makes great paintings of the American Civil War and I get his calendar every year.

this list could go on and on...this is top of mind, though.
