Who likes Gundam?

I do. I think its one of the best animes i've ever seen. From the original Gundam to Gundam Wing to Gundam Seed, it's definately set the standard for mecha anime since. Any other fans like me out there?

Evangelion's only downfall are it's main characters....they're just too much...

In the Manga this is corrected of course...since we see a little more into each character and get to know them better...and shinji's not that much of a wuss...

Have you ever watched a show called Rahxephon? Its often compared to Evangelion but its very different in some ways like for one the main character is not as much of a wuss as Evangelion's main character is.

RahXphon is good, I've seen the movie.

As for Eva, don't even get me started on Shinji..grr, he annoyed me. I agree, the manga was better.

Before Rahxephon came out, there was another show called Gasaraki which was treated as an Eva copy except there the visuals were more slammin and the main character was more of a Rei than a Shinji. You ever see that show?

I really liked the combat mechs although the main character from the first one was such a whiny Shinji to me. The second one's main character wasn't really a wuss.

I like Evangelion very much. Despite Shinji being whiny, I liked how his character played out. I haven't read the manga since I only watch the anime but I heard it was different in some ways. Rei was an interesting character in which she was so mysterious. And Asuka was such a headstrong character. Which ending did you like better for Eva? The TV ending or the movie ending?

Have you ever seen Patlabor? I liked the concept of mechs being part of the police. Ive seen the 3 movies. Also, have you seen Blue Gender? To me, its like Starship Troopers meets mecha.
