So... What Are You Doing This Halloween?

Postby Asantewaalrus » Fri Sep 04, 2009 4:49 pm

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

It's too early to think about Halloween, but it's still a fun subject to throw around, ha-ha.

Does anyone have any awesome plans, anyone brave enough to still throw on a costume and go trick-or-treating... despite being over, say, twelve? How about parties? Ha-ha, anyone have any <s>raunchy</s> amazing Halloween stories?

Me, personally? I'm going Christmas caroling.

Yes, friggin' Christmas caroling, my friends and I are debating about either dressing up as elves and going around town singing Christmas favorites or dressing up in very ghetto-fablous costumes and rockin' out to either Christmas songs or lame Halloween tunes.

... We can't decide. D:<

So yeah, share your stories, your plans, and anything else you plan on doing.

DO IT DO IT DO IT

I've sort of outgrown Halloween at this point. My school has the option to dress up for Halloween so sometimes I throw together something terrible for that; but otherwise I don't do much anymore, other than steal from my sisters' candy buckets.

That's how I've been for the last few years, I might sit at home and laugh my way through a few gore fest, but otherwise... yeah, Halloween is just another normal day.

Sometimes I'd party super hard on Halloween, but haven't in a few years. My birthday is two days before so I'd always do something amazing with my friends, ha-ha.

Weird thing is, the last few Halloween have been pretty weird. I got a cavitity last year and I have teeth of friggin' steel, and... the year before I lost my four-hundred dollar glasses.

Momma wasn't so happy. D:<

At my school, we have a Halloween dance, where girls from other schools come over to console us in our boy-only school... But I've effectively outgrown Halloween. I just snipe what I can from my brother's trick-or-treat bag before he notices.

However, idkmybffasantewaa, that sounds hilarious, what you are thinking of doing.
I really gotta fix up this theme

I wish I went to an all-boys school. D ;

... Oh, wait, that would call for some painful things. D ;

I'm still not sure, when I see everyone on Tuesday we're probably going to plan something epic. I know one of my friends has a gorilla suit, so I'm totally going to force him to wear it no matter what.

me too. Wrong thread, dear.

I will probably pass out candy, like I always do. There is a slight possibility that I might dress up like Frodo from Lord of the Rings. Very slight.

As your loving wife, I totally command you to dress up as Frodo.

I think I might steal my friend's gorilla suit and wear that instead... or maybe a banana suit, I want to do something crazy. D ;

But both those suits get pretty hot. DDD ;

So you said "banana suit" and I instantly thought "PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!" This is not a good thing.

Ohjumpingtrees.

Screw Christmas carols, I should totally force a bunch of people to dress up in banana suits and knock on people's doors, belting out "PEANUT BUTTA JELLY TIME."

I knew there was a reason I married you, you're a genius.

Yeah, this isn't a good thing, it's great.

I'll probably be stuck doing what I do every year: pass out candy while wearing a cheap vampire cape and plastic fangs.

If I'm lucky, though, I might be able to enhance the illusion with a white wig and some plastic wine glasses. Have at you!

I don't go trick-or-treating (too old, way too old) and nobody ever asks me for candy. So, nuthin'.

Oh to be a teenager again, and walk that fine line of what I am able to get away with in society. I'd trick or treat until I'd died, if I felt it wouldn't be awkward. *sigh* but as a tweenty year old I'm afraid I can not anymore.

I'll probably end up working/seeing a movie at midnight as per usual. Costume of choice this year is either a School Shooter or Roarshach from Watchmen.

Rent a baby and use him/her to go trick-or-treatin'.

Me, costume? I dunno... I hardly dress up for these events. I dunno if I'll attend a party and get a costume... not sure about it yet.

Oh. Wow.

I'm in someone's signature, I feel pretty awesome at the moment.

... You can rent babies? Meaning you can make money off of those things rather than losin'? :O
I might reconsider my beliefs on child birth...

From the looks of it, I guess I'm not the only one suffering through somewhat dull Halloweens. : /
Maybe LF should have a huge Halloween bash, I'm sure a few people have enough time to waste on the internet, e-trick-or-treatin'.

I'm joking with the baby rental thing. Although, it does happen in other countries, it's kinda sad.

If I knew how to get on the school intercom easily... heh heh heh.

I've recently discovered how to make good fake blood.

Dunno what costume I'll do. I'm considering Jamie from Megas XLR or William Dunbar again.

And am I going trick or treating? Duh.
Pounds of free candy. Why not?

@ MY85

I knew you were joking, no worries.
I hope this isn't another place I'll get taken seriously for my warped sense of humor...

@ Rho

If you do Jamie, I'll love you forever, no joke.
... I should persuade someone into dressing up as Coop, just so I can fan-girl myself down the streets.
Then again, I live in the rural area of Washington, everyone looks like Coop.

Contemplated making a Jigglypuff costume and then instantly changed my mind to make a Kirby one. Then I realised that with my already horrible back, it would be quite hard to move around (Since I intended to make the kind of costume that would require 'going on your honkers' and walking about that way) on top of actually making the costume itself.

Now I think I may go as Nekozawa from Ouran High School Host Club instead. Just because. I guess it's easier too.

EDIT: Actually I'm really more of Night Owl BTW.

I wish there was a huge cosplay meet-up here, I'd be the happiest little camper ever. D ;

Ha-ha, Teki-darling, if you went as Nekozawa, I'd love you for a quarter of a century… you suddenly gave me the urge to dress up as a life-sized version of that puppet.

~~D ;

One of the most terrible things about Halloween is the fact you have a lot of choices.

DD ;

AND G-FORCE, I LOVE YOU RIGHT NOW FOR GOING AS DR. DOO.

Can I just marry this whole forum, I love everybody here. D ;
Monogamy is lame, anyway.

I wish I could make myself seem XANA-fied and dress up as William on the day before Halloween at school. Confuse everyone. (I highly doubt I have any CL fans at my school other than me. D:)

I'm not sure yet. At my college we had dress up days for Halloween. I never won them, I just liked confusing people. I don't go trick-or-treating anymore, but I still like dressing up sometimes.
