First try with Scar: Drained 30% of his life. Then, I suck at playing videogames... though, to kill Scar you could try using a Charm Of Renewal item and if you saved many Elixirs, then that can do it.

Honestly, I've never seen this show. Doesn't grab me.

But last night my friend Hannah and I were talking during youth group, and she started singing the theme song in japaneese. I was singing Un Monde Sans Danger in french. Then we skated around the room in socks, hid in the elevator (we had a race of which was faster: Stairs or Elevator) Before the power went out, someone dropped ice cold water on my head, and then got chased around by a girl names Areena with chocolate syrup and a tampon.
It was fun.

Singing in Japanese and French, hiding in elevators, chocolate syrup and a tampon. That sounds a bit like my youth group.

Back to FMA. It's down to the last 10 episodes or so, correct? (On AdultSwim)

That sounds so much like my youth group that it's actually a little scary..

But to keep this on topic...Anime Insider featured an article on FMA in its latest issue, for which I am grateful because it helped me catch up on what exactly is going on. But it had some spoilers too, so now I'm rather sad because I know things that I wish I didn't...

But I am quickly falling more and more in love with this series. I can tell because I am reduced to screaming at the tv when I watch it. ^_^

Not everyone watches the English version...

I have a question about soundtracks. At a local Sanrio store they're selling the Fullmetal Alchemist Complete Best CD. It's $50.00, but only has 8 songs. It seems to be a boxset, though. Is this a special addition version?

Why is it stupid? The way you are saying it only makes you seem stupid. Oh and I also aim on getting nothing but A ranks for all the bosses :D

Then why are you even posting in this thread?

It amazes me. Fullmetal Alchemist connects to the bible in many ways and can actually be pretty philosophical at times, and yet, it has millions of fans on the edges of their seats! I've never been bored with it! Great series!

It is VERY short...I beat it in 8 hours but that was because I was goofing off and took my time on the bosses....I would say Yes if you want to get every item....But only rent it if you just want to play it once through....

Al, my a**.

I just played FMA again and first thing: I've defeated Scar. Took me half an hour, and loads of elixirs + two Charm Of Renewal.

Tips: Al won't do much damage. But before I've faced Scar, I had Alphonse carrying a boomerang. Very useful for f**kers like him. So by avoiding him, plus doing several counter attacks and throwing the boomerang, it can damage him a lot.

I was draining 50% of Scar's life. The big problem came when I've lost the boomerang. :cussout: Bombs didn't do much hassle, but they work if well aimed. My other problem was to get the boomerang hidden at a box, Scar didn't destroyed that box. After many minutes, counter attacks, Al abuse and luck, I've beat him!! I sucked. He's very tough.

I managed a B rank on him....I want that A rank Damnit....I need to get a combo down....So yeah.....Just need to figure out how to get a combo off on him....Oh and the Armlet of Perception owns.....So does Galaxy Medal along with 134 Bonus Points saved from the first play through.....So yeah....Scar is a weakling with Armlet of Perception...

Bloody hell, how do you get high ranks? Killing them fast?? And I do have many items, so tell me what should I use on Ed and Al to get higher ranks. The only time I got a B rank was on the chimera lion from the first level and level 6 boss. The rest were C, D or F. I suck!!

Well this is my second run through. but I just saved up 132 Bonus Points from my first run through that game and spent them all on attack and continued to do so. Then with the Armlet of Perception just hold the block button and when Scar attacks you will automaticly Counter-Attack. I was doing 80's to him per counter-attack. I also used the Artistic-Cow that is behind the crates directly behind Scar, That did about 200 damage each hit. But it only hits about 3 times and thats if your lucky.

I see, but still I can't get any good rank. I'm gonna use the Armlet of Perception on Armstrong and what else?

I used Galaxy Medal if you don't got that then use the Amazon Wrench. This way you have a chance to stun him when you try and attack him. I would also give Al something to increase his hits(A gold Ring for example) and maybe the Knife you get in the sewers, or if not that then a Bangle of some sort to increase his attack. If you need anymore help then go to www.gamefaqs.com for more information. I trust these guys for most of my gaming needs.
