Yeah, you're right. There's a new episode Monday at 3 p.m. (CST). Dunno about next Saturday, tough. Of course, I thought the last episode of last season would've been a good close for the seires, too...not that I want to see it end...

I did too, but I think tonight's episode would have worked just as well.

It should be, unless cartoonnetwork.com's schedule is inaccurate.

Well, I just watched the episode today... Didn't like it. I think the one on Saturday would have worked much, much better as an ending, and this episode would have worked in season 3 or something... but not to end the series. To be honest, it didn't seem good for Terra fans or Terra haters. And the entire team save for BB was completely neglected... I mean, in the last episode of the series, everybody should be equally included! -sigh- Sometimes life sucks...

Terra...Oh Terra. I want you to be happy so much, but...you're a hero among heroes, and you deserve better.

Please come back.

(This is what happens when you look up the series finale, and then start playing really sad romatic music)

This last episode proves why I jumped ship to CL in the first place. The last season stunk, except for the second to last episode, whick hearkened back to the old days. This is an insult to the fanbase to close out the series like this.

Seriously, that sucked....You're right it, it didn't seem good for Terra fans or Terra haters. And what's with a new villian that they can't catch!?!?!?!?!?!? And the way they ended that episode.......sigh.....I was hoping the Teen Titans would end with a blast....not a lame episode like this one.........

I would seem that the show's staff have pulled a Neon-Genesis-Evangelion ending on us - an episode that is 99% symbolism and allegory.

Personally I don't like what I heard, simply because it nullifies all the suffering and pain and love that Terra went through to become a better person. Season 2 was all about her learning to take responsibility for her actions and look her problems in the face, and here she is running away again.

The Titans return to the city after defeating the Brotherhood of Evil, only to find that their favorite shops have gone out of business. At this point a new monster attacks (and having now seen the ep I confirm they were imitating Evangelion, not just with a brain-f**k ending but with the monster' design).

During the fight, Beastboy sees a girl who looks weirdly like Terra, who promptly vanishes.

(the episode splits now - BB hunts for Terra, while the Titans fight the monster).

BB checks the cave where Terra was petrified and discovers that her statue has gone, but the memorial plaque is still there.

He flies around old locations from the Terra arc - the desert canyon, the funfair, Ben's diner - no luck.

The next day he's in the fight area and he sees Terra outside a high-school, talking with other girls. She doesn't appear to recognise him, but agrees to go with him for an hour or two.

They visit the pizza store and the tower, but BB can't suceed in convincing this girl that she's a former Teen Titan. Things turn bitter on the shore where they skipped rocks after BB throws a chunk of mud in her face, expecting her to deflect it with her powers, but she doesn't.

Dejected BB flies off to the funfair from 'Betrayal', and wanders right into the House of Mirrors - still damaged from that episode's events.

"Why - why can't she remember?"

Cue a deep, menacing and familiar voice.

"Because dear boy, the girl doesn't want to remember!"

SLADE! YAY! There's a fight in which BB wins, but it's just a Slade-Bot, which keeps mocking him that Terra has chosen to abandon her past life and start anew - "she doesn't want to know you anymore."

BB rallies himself for a final confronation with Terra, and after much arguing we have this tear-jerker exchange;

"The girl you knew, is just a memory."

"Come with me."

"You go - you're the Teen Titan - I'm not that, I'm not a hero. I'm not the girl you want me to be - just a girl with a geometry test next session and who hasn't studied."

She walks away and vanishes in a crowd, and BB runs off to help his friends.

THE END

And I'm just left so dissapointed - my favorite character, the one who's triumphant return I'd been waiting for - has been thrown aside with no chance of return.

Terra was a complex girl - afraid and naive, but in Aftershock2 she finally learned to show backbone - yet now here she is running away again. She says she's not a Titan, but what did that plaque under her statue read?

I just feel really betrayed, but I hope, so much that should a season 6 come along, that she will return (she clearly is fighting over the choices she's making - and feelings for BB are still evident) - it would have been so easy for the writers to show them running off together, but they did this instead, closing her story-arc in an unsatisfying way.

WHY!

I can't believe Terra just didnt want to remember BeastBoy. That must of crushed his heart when she said those things to him. On the other hand I enjoyed watching beastBoy beating the heck out of the robot Slade.

We actually have no proof that the girl really was Terra. It could very well have just been a creepy look-alike. If she is though, maybe she really doesn't remember. Anyway, these are the things I would prefer to think, as I'm not a Terra fan... I wouldn't call myself a hater, but I'm not a fan. Anyway, it doesn't look like we have much of a chance of a season 6, sad as that is, so it looks like the series had to end bitterly. I would've much preferred that it ended with Saturday's episode.

I didn't get to see the episode myself as I was coming back home from North Carolina at the time it aired, but even though everyone is saying it was bad, I'm definately still watching it on Saturday. As for Terra, I've always liked her, so regardless of what happened, I'm glad she came back at all (If it is her), even if it goes against what happened in Aftershock Part II.

Because it's in character. Terra ALWAYS runs away from things, albiet she's doing it in a more mental sense this time. I think you're underestimating how much of a brain**** the end of Season 2 would have been for her. Really, just be glad she's still in town.

Family Guy, Kim Possible, Digimon. All returning cartoon shows. Don't give up on Titans S6 yet.

Actually there is proof that the girl was Terra. First of all the stone figure which she was turned into was gone. Also it is possible she made her self forget like slade said. Who want to remember that you hurt the ones you most cared about. Also why would slade sent his robot after BeastBoy if it wasnt really terra?

I really hope that's the case.

Does anyone know if she was voiced by the same person?

Didn't Terra have some kind of armor on her body that was impossible to take off? How'd she get it off? :umm:

They've actually listed that as a goof in the episode guide at TV.com.

I've finally seen this episode, and I must say, I really enjoyed it. It didn't work as well as Titans Together as a finale, but I like to think of it as more of an epilouge. This has to be my second favorite episode of Season 5, the first being Lightspeed.

Does anyone think there might be a connection between Terra's return and the appearance of the new monster?

I don't think there was a connection unless that thing was like the darkness in terra's heart that got loose

That's actually why I thought there might be one. It's not just the timing, but as I was watching, I thought their powers were similar too (at least until the creature did the thing with the wood), and it seemed to run away more than fighting (at least to me). I doubt there is a connection, but I do think there are some strange similarities.
