Yea same here. I was about 9 at the time and i woked up to use the bathroom. I woked up the window and saw the red moon. At first i thought it was Mars.
Joined in 2005, left 2008, came back July 2011

Yeah, I see it orangish-red often. It always happens whenever the moon rises right after dusk, and the color fades as it rises.Xanafied William wrote:Off/On topic: Since we are talking about the moon. Has anyone seen the moon red?

It can be orange, or reddish, but during an Eclipse, it can get dark, almost blood Red. I've seen it many times.

I have never seen one with my own eyes. Circumstances would always prevent me from doing so. It'll be hard for me to miss it this time, since I'll be getting out of class while it starts... Please please please, stay clear tonight, weather.

God, I almost saw it.
But it's bad luck in Vegas.
The clouds got in the way.
I drove all the way to my friends house too because he has a really good telescope to see stuff clearly in the sky. His house is in Henderson which is like a 50 minute drive....I wasted gas.
Rain...why must you come to Vegas in such a bad time.
