I have my French exam tomorrow, and then the rest of them next week. I should really be studying right now...8D;

I'm really, really trying to resist downloading the Photoshop CS4 trial. For one, it'll distract from exams. But for another, I've just discovered a newfound love for the Pen Tool. I've been doing a vector of Odd on the school computers during my free time in Graphic Design class. I think I'll post it up when it's done. Ah well. Something else to look forward to for Christmas break, I suppose. ^__^

On another note, it's funny. Ever since the opening of this thread, the BKO thread has been dead as a doornail.

The BKO thread was only open to the elitist (somewhat) class of posters who put at least 75 posts into every forum except for the games thread, and this thread is open to everyone. It's kinda like those ancient battles between the patricians and the plebians, except that this is over the internet and not in Rome.
Also, <s>there is no elitist class of rulers</s>... Oh wait... I forgot about the admins.

In other news, I only have five more days of school before I have a full two-week vacation somewhere in Key West in Florida.

When you said that you can do animations, I just want to confirm something. Can you do that all in Photoshop, or do you have to use some third-party software?

I can do it all in Photoshop. I have to do some sort of funny thing with the layers and then set it to an animated GIF, but I can do it. I can't do it at the moment- my exams are over Thursday, so that's when I'll install the CS4 trial. Did you want me to do something, or did you want to know for yourself?

The GIMP can do animated GIFs as well, also by doing layer stuff. It's probably not as user friendly, though...

Anyways, I'm back home. Yay! Once I find a DVI->VGA adapter, I can even use my own computer... (didn't have space to pack the monitor. We have plenty of old ones around, but they're all VGA... which my computer doesn't output...)

But I'm hoping to get a holiday ULT special done... be really neat to do something with audio, but right now the only way I can do that is by creating the audio and video separately, fusing them, and hope I synced it right...

Regardless of whether or not he was joking (I personally find nothing offensive with his post), social etiquette is extremely difficult to moderate; some people have conversations, other people have other conversations, and some people don't want to engage in those other conversations, so they stop posting, which everyone knows they obviously can do.

For the record, the reason why my post count is going down is simply because I just don't post on forums anymore. I just lose interest. For example, I really, <B>really</B>, didn't want to bother typing up this post.

I knew you was kidding. That was a good metaphor, though...and the resulting confusion made the thread amusing. xD

I decided to give in to fate and install the CS4 trial. I love it to death. Mostly because I can now make pretty things by tracing over CL screenshots. Dey's on my DA if anyone wants to bother looking.

While browsing CL.fr for the screenshots, I noticed with the newly-found French knowledge that had been crammed into my head that some of the French ep titles were a bit...weird. Temporary Insanity is "Tarentele au plafond", or "Tarantulas in the Ceiling". Crash Course is "Leçon de choses", or "Lesson of Things." Things. Yeah.

Does the CS4 trial have a time limit?
I may download it; I seriously need a good picture editor for my Mac. I am beginning to accept high-quality error message commsions, mainly as favors for friends, but I may begin selling various messages to people. And as far as I am concerned, Microsoft Paint is a horrible picture editor.
Also, I am going to pack food for the poor tomorrow, so if the world blows up in the internet tomorrow from the hours of 12am to 10pm, I will be blissfully unaware of anything.
Also, for the people who know stuff, why did thousand-mistress get banned from the internet in the first place?
I kinda miss her awfully annnoying songs and other phrases.
