I do collect the cards, but I don't know how to play. My cousin tried teaching me once, but I was like screw it, I just like it for the fun of it. My favorite Pokemon is Umbreon, or Absol, or a different dark type, or a different Eevee evolution.

For Xmas, my dad once bought a pack of the island Pokemon from Japan. I still have them lol. All of the pictures would form one big picture.

Ooh, I have that set too! I love the shiny Mew card~ but the postcards were the best. The one with the Mew+Onix+Pidgeot in the middle was my favourite.

Well, funny story about that...

When I was little my best friend Ashley and her little brother Trevor were obsessed with that show, I remember making fun of them because they had to carry down those giant binders full of cards whenever they watched the show... and they were totally into that anime stuff.

And now I'm nearly obsessed with it...

And I'll watch the pokemon movies when I'm really really really bored if nothing else is on and I'm alone and there's no internet access and Everyone else in the world is dead....

Speaking of which, did you notice that Pokeman stays away fromany Mary-sue charachters? They just have Ash do everything! I mean, he's like the aura master and kind of the seas and all that stuff... does anyone see it as annoying?

I just started getting into pokémon. I never really played the games nor did I really keep up with the early seasons, but I have enjoyed most of the last three seasons (the last two with May and part of the first one with Dawn... that's how I keep track, according on how they switch the characters around) and I have come to the conclusion that pokémon is all right. I have seen the older episodes from the first few seasons they've been showing lately and it's not half bad, either. I guess my favorite character is Brock, because he's so sincere and because he falls in love so hilariously with every girl he meets, but I guess Team Rocket is pretty darn funny too. Funny villains can be better than serious ones sometimes, and whoever said it first knew what he was talking about.

But I never watch the new episodes after CL. They would just take the fresh CL taste away from me.

I'm getting Diamond because it looks more icey-ish, and I love diamonds? I mean... if you see the commercials... the diamond dude is like, in an ice landscape. So, I love ice (Big Noxus fan from MPH) powers, and such. Pearl is pink... which was a hard choice for me. (I love Sakura in all her pink goodness. O_O)

My brother has decided to get Pearl, since it's pretty stupid for him to like, get the same game as me. (You do NOT want to add him. ^^) The pearl version looks more manlier anyways. The pokemon on the cover is soo bulky and not femenine. ><' LOL. Maybe it's a female. ^^

I really don't see how the difference in the story, and a different pokemon changes people on boards. I really don't think it's the game at all. Just the people... Maybe I will get Pearl... We'll have to see. :]

Ewww, I also hate how the characters look. The male character looks especially repulsive. :]

... VGcats? o_O; I haven't been on there for a while. People had been posting comments like that in 'which one r u gettin n wai??11' threads at Pokemon forums everywhere for ages. Mostly back when it was only out in Japan for a few weeks. :\

Palkia (the Pearl legendary) is genderless, so I dunno about the girly-ness. It looked more lilac to me than pink. I've seen a lot of people say it looks like a certain... thing, though. Haha. >_>; Pearl's good to get for trading- there's loads of Pokemon you can get in it only and not in Diamond so they're a little higher in demand, since almost everybody's getting Diamond. Also you can get Diamond exclusives really easy. And, um, D/P come out in Britiain on the 27th of July or something. I forget.
