I brought up the idea once that we should have a censor in place like every other board, and Mewberries blasted the idea saying that we can simply police ourselves and blah blah blah blah

I don't know what kind of forum censor you guys are all talking about. We haven't installed anything new into the forum's features. Unless Warton's forgotten to tell me something... >.>;;;

I can see there are some interesting "WORD NOT ALLOWED" buttons but for the life of me, I'm not sure what would be causing that, much less why it would only censor certain words (and not the big ones of all things; thanks so much for that lovely demonstration, Piper. ^^; ). But whatever's doing it, it isn't any of the Admins doing, and it seems rather faulty.

Until this can be figured out, I'd suggest not relying too much on this "censor" (again as Piper demonstrated), and simply "police yourselves". ;D


Oh and Merry Christmas guys! Hope you all have had a great holiday season so far! 8D

Getting off the matter of forum censor filters, I'm going to Key West today! Hopefully, I can stay in touch w/ my PSP and the new iPod Touch I gave my parents (bringing that). So... yeah.

Also, I think I need to change my keyboard batteries; letters are getting dropped for no reason whatsoever.
I really gotta fix up this theme

Belated Merry Christmas to you all!

So, I was perusing my file of Code Lyoko related shards of unfinished fanfiction today and I think I should be concerned. I found a romance-y type thing involving XANA and the Tiddlywinks Lady from Temporary Insanity, something that I think is meant to be a parody of "Exchange-student-discovers-Lyoko" stories, and a Teen Titans/CL crossover that I thought had to be a few years old until it mentioned Replikas.

What's scarier is that the Tiddlywinks Lady (who I have named Agnes) and XANA one is the one I actually finished. >.>

ef ey gee, ef ey gee gee oh tee, en aye gee gee ee ar, and en aye gee gee ey. All I "pronounced" are censored, even in BKO and private messaging.

Like I said, I have no idea why we suddenly have a censor of some kind, and why it's been set to censor in BKO of all things, since none of the Admins installed anything to my knowledge. I'll get in touch though with Wartonchan asap and see if he knows anything about this (and why spambots are suddenly able to join again). >_>;;;

The censorship of those words applies to the entire forum. It has always worked.

For all I care, the current staff can choose to uncensor them or keep them the way it is.

And no one ever noticed until now? That's kinda weird. But, it doesn't really affect us. The one word that seems to be censored in BKO (the n word) was never allowed anyway, and we always had to keep it G-rated out here, so...yeah. But I guess it's something to talk about, which is always good in this place.

On another note, i like your avatar, MY85. It probably reflects how you feel when you look at this forum. ^__^
