The idea of school is very close to my heart; I think education (or lack thereof) is the root of many of the problems we face in this country--so I googled "best school in the world" and found this article:
http://www.buzzle.com/editorials/9-24-2005-77451.asp
In this school things are laid back and relaxed--there is no set curriculum and kids are not forced to learn any specefic subject or compete--if there is a class you don't like, you don't have to participate--the position of teacher is also a very competitive job. The kids in this school do better (according to the article) than any other school in the world. Your thoughts?
PS Remember this article when you are old enough to vote and politicians are pushing to give this system a try don't forget what it's like being a kid!
