How were you introduced to Lyoko Freak?

Um... I'm not entirely sure where to put this. But since it relates to Lyoko Freak, I decided to post it here. I hope this is the right place. I'm sorry if it's not.

Anyway, I just wanted to know how you were introduced to Lyoko Freak. I followed a link here from the Wikipedia article for Code Lyoko. (Just goes to show how popular this site is.)

I can blame TVTome. Way back when, Erynn had LF in her sig... I joined before all you n00bs started showing up. And that's all there is to it. At first, I tried out the new TV.com... it's a joke. The site is nothing like it used to be under John. It just... wasn't the same.

And so, I'm here. And this is still one of the best forums I've ever been to, bar none. (I wish my site would pick up from 163 posts... any takers?)

I actually did a sympathy join when it first came online, but actually once I was kicked off TV.Com, along with Dylan, I joined here. And actually, my first post was in Hug, Kiss, Bash ect... between Dylan and StarWay, I think.

But after that, I really got to like this pace. Sure, It took a while to get into BKO, but I got friends here! My best friends in the world are here! BAB and & and TB3 and Rodri and Db and TL... and even OG recenly joined, who I know from FF.net and Neopets!

No, scratch that, it was a VERY BORING day in the life of Lani D:

Lani said to herself, "Gee, I've read every article in the CL section of wikipedia, why not read them again!! 8D"

Lani proceeds to read every article again until she has again found herself back on the main page. There are links! Lani says, "Wow, links!" *clicky*

Lani clicks on "Lyoko Freak". She enjoys herself for a while and for some strange reason refrains from the "forum" button.

Several days later, Lani revisits and clicks the "forum" button.

Lani scrolls down the main page, and says, "Wow, that's a lot of forums!" *clicks on CL discussion*

Lani becomes curious in several threads, namely Let's Talk Tech! (half of which she does not understand, but reads anyway because she likes to feel smart) and Project XANADU. After lurking, she says... "IMMA JOIN 83."

After joining, Lani anticipates only 100-so posts.

No more.

Uh, Erynn's set of questions? I never had to go through a "set of questions".

Does this have to do with why some people can't like automatically post in forums when they first join, and they have to like "ask" a mod to or something... after they get a required amount of posts? I don't remember doing anything like that....

I joined because my sister found it, and she was always talking about what the crazy kids talked about here [way back] and so I checked it out. I have gotten myself into much trouble here. But, Erynn is way forgiving, so here I am still. Also, my sister doesn't like this site much anymore she is on the regular Code Lyoko site now. But yeah, I came here, and well now I come on here a lot, although it's not nearly as fun as it was before.

Hehe. I was looking for CL info and pics for fun. I found LF. I was like "Wow! Dis site is teh pimp!" I saw the forum button thinking it'd be just another lame noob-filled textfest. Just out of boredom one day, I clicked. I read through the rules and was like "Cool! A gramatically correct forum! This is cooler than Gaian forums!" Then I joined and was like "Yay! Nerd boys to flirt with!" And I still love it here.

I stayed with TVTome until the bitter end, spent about a month as a ronin, and then joined up. I had a dial-up connection then, which made tv.com infeasible, as the loading was glacial. I also didn't expect tv.com to be worthwhile, which seems to have proven true.
