The Atrocities of Cartooon Companies

Right, a few things to mention:

1) Pokémon is going down the tubes in two ways. First, it's not airing on WB or CW next season; second, now that The Pokémon Company has reacquired the rights to the anime from 4Kids, it's firing all the current voice actors (from May and Max right up to Ash) and hiring not new actors, but soundalikes for the old ones. The new VAs are being tested in the special to air this Saturday on Kids' WB; I intend to record it only to see how bad it is and what I'm going to miss. Serebii.net is leading a campaign to save the dub's VAs, but it's looking to be a losing battle.

2) Now that Yu-Gi-Oh! is finished with, WB and CW are dropping it as well. No airings of GX or anything, it's just dying. Fans aren't liking this change much either, although I don't know if CN has exclusive rights or not.

Am I the only one mad about this? I liked both those shows...

Who came up with the piece of bunk that soundalikes were a good idea? Has anyone watched the stupid Emperor's New Groove cartoon series they made? I saw part of an episode, and guy who took over for David Spade does a good job some of the time, but just ends up as being distracting most of the time. Blech.

GX is awesome. And accourding to Tv.com, whic I forcibly admit, can be useful, ther are allready several episodes ready to come pout, but it's like what they did with CL, aired the episodes to refresh your mind, then threw out lots of new ones...
(OK, secretly I think Jaden's cute. He looks like BAB, but hotter and smarter and funnier and... *Falls over*)
Which is interesting, because my best friend Tara (My opposite) loves the original Yugi... Aly (My twin) loves Addicus, or whatever his name was, and I love Jaden.
It's the same with CL. Tara loves William, Aly loves Ulriuch, and I love Odd...

I find that a lot of my fave shows are also getting switched around... like the Miguzi lineup... On some days I get home after CL is done, and on occasion GX... But Those four shows are my faves... CL, ZatchBell, GX, and Totally Spies. At least the good stuff like TT and Naruto is saved for later...

I just *hate* everything on Cartoon Network currently. Most of their new shows suck, except for C:L and a select few of the animes. Although Puffamiyumi *is* pretty tolerable.... weird beyond all reason, but tolerable.

We're not talking about Cartoon Network here, folks... The WB and UPN are merging into one network: The CW. What we're talking about here is what lives through to next fall's lineup, when the change happens. But the Pokémon thing is happening anyway. So, no Pokémon (AND they're killing the dub outright by changing the VAs) and no Yu-Gi-Oh! this fall, as far as we know.

I nearly screamed when I found out about Pokemon's VAs being switched...they won't air here for a handful o' months, so I don't know...as for the cancellation, they'll still air the olds episodes. (over in the UK, anyway) Because, well, personally I think if they randomly showed the series out of the blue in the first place, why not keep it?

I mean, really. I was never a big Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, but I always thought they were tolerable. And merging UPN and WB? What are those execs *on*?
