How many licks does it take?

Has anyone ever counted how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? I stopped at 125 cuz i was bored.

maybe the tongue sizes can account for the gap in licks..and also it could be that some tongues are rougher than others....not all tongues are the same..so that could also be another reason for the gap in licks.

If you got past 500, you were obviously counting by twos, and if you got 5,800, you were obviously counting by hundreds.

your tongue is a muscle just like most of your body, muscles do get tired, and become sore..there is your answer..

but yeah, the acid that your body produces is also a big factor...good point..didnt factor that in right away.
