Had a feeling that I'd find people that liked it/remembered it at a Lyoko forum.


To bring those who want to help up to speed here's a very breif rundown:

Wanted to get something done about the lack of ReBoot since '01 with the season 4 cliffhanger.

That eventually became what is now a mass mailing to Cartoon Network to get them to rerun ReBoot from seasons 1-4 and in doing so see that the ratings will go up for that time they show it. Hopefully they'll consider funding Mainframe (company that made it) once again and we'll get more ReBoot!

If you go to this topic, Revival of ReBoot and go to the last page or so that should help you understand what's happening.

Oh, so THAT's what it's called!

Back when I was young and dumb, I used to watch ReBoot, simply because it was on before Sailor Moon was. I loved it, my parents hated it, and I remembered not a shred of the plot. Or the name. I was searching for it for quite a while...

But I'll read up on it. Definitely.

Wow! Just then I was about to make a thread asking if people remembered a similar show. I do indeed have many fond memories of reboot. Infact it was the last series I'd been watching before I discovered Code Lyoko. Got the whole first and second season on tape as a kid, and recently found seasons three and four online and was like "WOOOWW"

But I hope you don't mind if I invade your thread with another blast from the past. I was wondering if since we're all fans of a French CGI series, if anyone was familiar with another one, one of the first CGI series ever made infact. It's called Insektors, made by French animation company Fantome around the same time as reboot. I've got almost the whole North American version of the series transfered from old VHS hosted on a website if you're interested http://www.insektors.com/episodes.html

My God it's been along time since I've watched this show. I remember when I was a young pup watching this show and loving every minute of it. I wish CN will bring it back just of old times sakes. Ah ReBot you use to pwn CN with your witty plot and kick (butt) characters.

Wow I just had a collison with fond memmories that I had forgotten. This cartoon is actually in my top 5, right behind Code Lyoko and Gargoyles. It was such a great show. I especially liked the later episodes when wen endzo got older.

Site update!

It's now come down to:

• making screencaps for 29 more episodes
• making one or two more profiles
• writing up three episodes summaries for the last episodes of season 4
• and some technical stuff to work out.

At the moment I can't quite give you a set date.

Oh the memories of this cartoon.....wow. I am suprised that so many of us remember this show. I loved it as a kid. I would love to see it again. Just for the nostalgia of it.
