Beetlejuice (The Movie and Cartoon)

Besides TNBC, this is probably one of my favorite movies (directed by "guess who"); it's funny, weird, and with that right amount of ghosts shot into it. I remember I used to watch reruns of the cartoon (it was canceled before I was born) in the mornings when I was little and I always called Lydia "The Girl" because I never knew her name. :*D Anyone else like it?

Only bone (no pun) I will throw to Burton is Beetlejuice. But not because of the movie. How they can name the movie after B.J. and only give him like 15 minutes of screen time is beyond me.

The cartoon, however, is a totally different story. AOL has all the episodes up online and I'm in love with it again. I love the story dynamic. And I love Lydia's character.

Actually, it was 17 1/2 (shot multiple times) and Keaton only spent two weeks filming. Go figure.

I think the cartoon was better than the movie....the movie was just stupid in my opinion.

The movie was alright, maybe good for a rainy day, but not something I'd really want to watch.

Zomg. Beetlejuice was one of my favourite cartoons back then. It aired after/before/close to when Two Stupid Dogs played in Britian, didn't it? Don't remember much about it 'cept him being revived by waving a bug in front of his nose. Tasty.

Never saw the movie, though.

I remember watching the Cartoon alot when I was little. The Skeleton in the shorts( ;) )scared me. I thought he was gonna eat me. :no:

I was scared at first too, but after watching it for a while, I grew to like it. It was interesting to watch.
