The fact that you mispelled the title in the topic title as my first name irked me a little. Then I saw the site. This has to be a joke.

They're just sugarcoating it by adding all that God stuff. In my opinion, God didn't want you to be SOLD OFF to some random stranger who'd probably MISTREAT you while your parents quietly move to a gated community in Florida... And 'biblical tradition'? The thing about the bible is, it happened A LONG TIME AGO. It's 2007. Women don't have to- and shouldn't- marry in their teens to someone they've never met and spend their lives as pawns of their husbands.

Oh...and? Every single one of those testimonials mentions that if you marry your daughter off YOU WILL GET LOTS OF MONEY. Most of them are along the lines of "ok i got married and i'm ok i guess BUT WE GOT MONIES". How cheap. How stinkin cheap.

That, and the fact that most of these girls are underage (only one of them is 18 or over, and she's...18) not only makes it creepy, but illegal. If my parents ever put me up on a website like this, I'd run away from home. Seriously.
