George Carlin passed away last night.

Boy. I'm going to miss that weirdo. He introduced profanity to people and even played Rufus in those Bill and Ted films.

I shall miss him.

He can't die! I always figured that he'd live a lot longer...

Oh well. Now he's in west Heaven, in the Balloon room...

George Carlin was one of my favorite comedians. I remember reading his book, Napalm and Silly Putty, on a plane when my family and I were going to Disney World. Or at least parts of the book. I was nine at the time so mother wouldn't let me read it all.

I will truly miss George Carlin. He was a wonderfully funny person. And although he is gone, his jokes will live on forever. Because of George, people will forever wonder why we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway.

I was just about to bring it up.

George Carlin was my #1 favorite comedian. His bold, daring humor had been both inspiring and very entertaining to me for a long time now, and the news of his passing are a tremendous tragedy in my eyes. It will be some time before such a brave, intelligent man projects such sophisticated, educated thoughts by way of stand-up before a mic. I may have never had the honor of meeting him personally, but I'll tell the lot of you, I'm going to miss him terribly. Good-bye to a hero.

RIP George Carlin

My parents were very sad at this news, apparently they went to one of his shows as a first date. So without him, I most likely wouldn't be here right now... Ouch.

Because of his death, I'm trying to get the "Class Clown" album.

I remember him best as Mr. Conductor from Shining Time Station, good memories there. He did an interview with Art Bell on Coast to Coast AM back in 1999, they played it last night.

He'll definitely be missed. :(

I really liked his narrator voice in the Thomas the Tank Engine series when I was younger, and he'll definitely hold a place in my memory.

(And yeah, I believe that he was Mr. Conductor in Shining Time Station. I didn't care for the live action part a lot in that series, but he was a really good character.)

I saw a parody of him on the Colbert Report. They called him a censorship leader.

I believe censorship is crap.
