Yea, this is an old topic, considering when the last game came out, but I ran a search and it came up with blankness, so yeah.

Who here likes Pikmin games?

I played the first one back when it came out. I remember lots of girls saying how cute and good it was, so I decided to try it out, at least so that the ladies and I would have common ground in conversation. And... I didn't like it much. I mean, I didn't hate it, but it felt uncomfortable to know that I only had so long to beat the game, not to mention that I got stuck a whole lot and that the game eats up blocks on the memory card like a bee-yotch. Be that as it may, I'm sure the series will live on and show us much as-yet unseen potential. Also, Captain Olimar in Smash Brothers ftw.

That's the same reason I dislike Pikmin I (btw, if you have a Pikmin save file on your memory card and you play SSBM, you get an Olimar trophy).

I prefer Pikmin 2. Pikmin 2 had more or a "adventure" feel to it, not a "HOLY CRAP IM GOING TO DIE" feel.

I actually enjoyed the first Pikmin. It was quite entertaining and I loved the multiple endings. The music was really great too.

The second installment was a major drag.
