Renowned voice actor dies at 68.

Don LaFontaine, also known as the "King of Voiceovers" and "That one guy who does that voice in the movie trailers", has passed away. He died from a collapsed lung.

He is well known for his incredible voice. He has been called Thunder Throat, and even the Voice of God. For years his only job was to record himself reading things that often began with "In a world..." Many knew his voice, but not his face, at least until he appeared in a commercial for Geico.

In a world that has lost its' voice, movie previews will never be the same. One man. One legend. One voice. Don LaFontaine. Rest in peace.

...you know what? He's one person I can really think... that even though his contribution to the world was so small with out him he'll be surely missed by anyone that loves movies.

In a world with out this voice, movie trailers will never be the same.
