This topic of the title makes it seem more like an anti-USA laws thread.

On that topic, I dislike the fact that the drinking age is enforced by the law, as opposed to the parents, who are the guardians of the child.

Also, medical marijuana is illegal under federal law, which is proven to help cancer patients cope with their condition, and helps with other diseases such as graft versus host disease.

My citation is the national geographic channel. I don't do good with official citations.

Also, there's the same-sex "marriage" laws (aka civil unions in most people's eyes)

People think some of the laws regarding abortions are stupid.

Of course, stupid is relative, and if I were to give my opinion on these topics more, I will probably start (if I haven't already) some uncivilized (as uncivilized as one can get on a forum, of course) debating.

On the topic of this thread, I believe I saw that silly string was banned from one certain state. I'm not sure if that's true, and even what state it is for that matter.

There is a law in New Jeresy that it's illeagle to ride a unicycle in church. Now I'm just a humble man, but you know, at some point in time, some jack*ss kept insisting on riding his unicycle to church and someone went "we have to put a stop to this."

Pennsylvania
You may not catch a fish by any body part except the mouth.

:umm: And the logic in this is?...
In the city of Bensalem
Persons convicted of felonies may not operate Bingo games.

Wahahahaha!! How random!
In Allentown
There is a ban on men becoming aroused in public.

That's not fair!
Here's a goodun!
It is illegal to have over 16 women live in a house together because that constitutes a brothel.

You Gotta be kiddin'!
Any motorist driving along a country road at night must stop every mile and send up a rocket signal, wait 10 minutes for the road to be cleared of livestock, and continue.

It it illegal to sleep on top of a refrigerator outdoors.

Why would you want to? That'd be pretty painful.
Found this for florida
You may not fart in a public place after 6 PM.

In Ohio
It is illegal to get a fish drunk.

In Kentucky
One may not dye a duckling blue and offer it for sale unless more than six are for sale at once.

New York
The penalty for jumping off a building is death.

Well, DUH!

I wanna contribute to the forum.

My bad. I was going under the impression that we could post laws we thought were dumb. Again, my bad.

Sweden:

 • While prostitution is legal, it is illegal to use the services of a prostitute.
 • You may only own half a meter down in the ground of any land you own.
 • It is illegal to repaint a house without a painting license and the government’s permission.

France:

 • It is illegal to kiss on railways in France.
 • No pig may be addressed as Napoleon by its owner.
 • Between the hours of 8AM and 8PM, 70% of the music in the radio must be by French composers.
 • It is illegal in Antibes to take photos of police officers or police vehicles, even if they are just in the background.
 • An ashtray is considered to be a deadly weapon.

More here.

Serious loophole here!

In Dayton, Virginia
A person of color may not be oustide or within the city limits after 7 pm

Doesn't this mean that after 7pm, all black people in the world(it's a law of the city, not the state) have to be in dayton?

Los Angeles, California

"You cannot bathe two babies in the same tub at the same time."
..And how would one even get caught for that?

Pacific Grove, California
"It is illegal to molest butterflies."
..And who would want to do that? o_0

South Pasadena, California
"It is illegal to cuss in public."
...Ahem. I redirect them to the first amendment of the United States of America. FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

New Mexico state-wide
"Idiots may not vote."
But wait.. Bush won the majority vote in the state in the 2004 election.

"State officials ordered 400 words of “sexually explicit materialâ€
"english isnt his first language, leave him alone. im more upset at people that have been speaking english their whole lives and cant write a readable sentence."
