Some time ago, I posted a thread ranting about how much Monster Buster Club had ripped off Code Lyoko. It's a show featuring four kids (a tough-girl minority chick, a quiet introverted guy, a scrawny humor-loving guy, and a naive short-haired chick learning about Earth culture) who put on sentai-esque CGI costumes and ride vehicles that look remarkably like the nav-skids to fight evil aliens from a high-tech base, built by an ancestor of the short-haired naive chick, no less. I was all riled up at the blatant imitation. Then I realized that the show as very probably just a parody of CL. Then I started liking it because the kids won me over with their eerily perfect smiles.

And then I gave them a page on TVTropes.org and... well, it's just kida ironic.

If anyone wants to contribute to said page with a kickin' picture of the kids, that'd be great.

...anyone got anything to say about that?

Cathy is OK, but still no match for Aelita. Aelita is Sooper X-TREME!! OK.

They do have somewhat similar hairstyles and facial features, though...

Cathy can stretch and talk weird. Aelita can bend the fabric of Time and Space WITH HER MIND.

And she can fly and shoot balls of energy from her hands. Yeah, Aelita's cooler. Plus, her voice is nicer to listen to.
