ok, this may not catch on, but let's see

If you ever used Game Spy arcade before the parlor games were got, then you've probably heard of YARN

YARN is a story composed of people posting sentences and voting on them, the sentence with the highest votes goes into the story, 1 point per vote, and the highest voted sentence gets 1 bonus point, up to 8 people can play at a time, the rules are modified so you have 7 days to post and 7 days to post, it consitsts of 13 rounds of posting sentences and voting, and one round for the moral.

The entries can be more than one sentence but must be at or under 2 lines in length

The winner of the last game can start the next game, which starts with a one line sentence to set the theme, so here we go!!
