LOL You guy/girls crack me up sometimes .True I would like to yumi /Aeltia in japanese uniforms (bad idea ) .Has anyone seen the new seires of She the umimate weapon it's got be something like it .There a tomboy in it who well, I say she a total wierdo who get's in the way of everything .For me it will be a good way to learn japanese .So I hate to admitted by I have to change may mind .I wonder what the transport are going to be, huge megas knowing the japanese lol. I don't really know .But I get wait for the stpied expression and the mini lyoko warriors(I talking about when someone shouts their grow taller annd the rest become smaller lol.)

I'm drawing Yumi more anime-style in a school girl outfit. Yummy.

I had the weirdest idea for how to dress Yumi like a tomboy but in Japanese uniform.

Okay, so she wears the fuku (sailor blouse) like the other girls, but then wears a boy's suit-jacket and trousers with it - I doodled out a sketch and it looked quite good. For some reason I see her with dark blue/purple hair.

Odd I saw in normal uniform but with no tie and the jacket tied round his waist - and re-imagined his hair as blone with purple-dyed tips.

Ulrich's also in uniform but with the tie worn loose and the shirt untucked.

And for Jeremie I thought he'd wear a pressed shirt and perfectly done tie, but with no jacket.

Thoughts?

Since nobody said anything, I really want to see a group cast picture that way. I love what you've drawn so far TB3, and it would probably come out awesome.

Lyoko might have to be redesigned. For one, there'd be more then Forest, Ice, Mountain, Carthage, and Desert. There'd also be Caves, Ocean, Volcano, and Space. That would be cool...

Not to mention, more "monster in real world" stuff, more "Lyoko Powers in real world" stuff, and of course, overexagerated emotions. YAY!!!

For other ideas, a guy called Digitick already came up with an idea for an anime CL show. It's called "Code: Manga Lyoko." I'd put up the link, but FF.net is acting all screwey right now.

The idea behind this was to combine Garage Kids with CL, and then apply a sort of 'clubhouse' feel - somewhere where the kids come to crash and hangout - it also deepens the mystery of Lyoko, because now it's not just a single creator who's vanished, but an entire team of twenty or so people. Where did they go? Even I don't know

And after all is said and done, I way prefer what we have in the show to this deranged day-dream (I need to lay off the late-night snacks).

You should write that as a AU movie script. As for the Project Staff... maybe XANA's slowly turning them into monsters (and the eventual generals of his army. You only get 2 or 3 at once, but that means there's plenty left for later).

I'd be d*mned to see CL in Anime style. I'm not a fan of Anime... but I'd rather have Code Lyoko to continue the way it is graphically. Just lay the ganja off their writers and the show will do fine.

There better not get rid of the CG in it .That the only part of the show my dad like. In the new style anmie a tomboy is more is still dressed like a boy .But I do hope ther keepALL the characters the same.

I will admit, that would be pretty awesome. *Imagines a bunch of kanks forming together to create....KANKTRON!*

But I feel that if an anime was created out of CL, they would have to do at least three-four major and minor changes for it to work out.

1) Aelita, being the cute sweet girl of this series and of this anime clearly, would have to look and retain the part. Unlike Yumi and perhaps Sissy, Aelita would be in loose skirts and cuter apparel than what she has now. something like this...

Comes to mind when it's a formal occasion, but with skirts and cuter clothing than that overall thing she has now. Also, she'd HAVE to keep the flower. It's part of her character design, and distinguishes the character. Not to mention if XANA captures her and takes her place in order to destroy the others (which will happen in an anime.), Jeremie noticing a lack of flower is a sure giveaway.She would also, for the most part, have to have her independence lowered. Although she certainly is capable of taking care of herself, it would be more in the case of a strong inner strength than anything involving that stunt she pulled with the Over Board. That probably wouldn't happen in the anime. Almost every cute, sweet girl in anime has these qualities. (Ex: Digimon, Bleach, Naruto, Eureka Seven, Gundam SEED, Macross, Flame of Recca, YYH, Trinity Blood, etc.)

2) Instead of Odd holding ALL the spotlight, Jeremie would have to be the funniest character on the show. Not for his antics mind you, but his reactions. Geeks in anime tend to keep to rituals and like things to be order for the most part; anything that changes it would lead to amused anger, and everyone would laugh at his expense. Also, when it comes to Aelita, he'd have to become puddy and vice-versa. The end of Xana's Kiss would have to have been the start of their cute relationship, and Odd would just have to rub it in, in his own way.

3) I started to mention this above, but THE ROMANCE MUST BE PRESENT. Jeremie with Aelita first, then Yumi with Ulrich, and by the end of the anime , Odd with somebody, preferably Sam. There will be scenes where people will just go "awwww" and the development of the relationship would improve with the episodes, some dealing with just one, while other, more important episodes, deal with all three.

and 4) Battle scenes would be a LOT more comprehensive. Not in the DBZ way, but in the Naruto way, where the innovation and technical aspect of the startegy used wins the day for the team.

You put those changes into a Code Lyoko anime, and I'll watch it subbed or dubbed, as long as they get the right people.

As we all know, CL is getting a Japanese release, a very rare honour.

However, what if things went...a little different.

What if Code: Lyoko got remade as an anime, tailored to Japanese audiences?

So, if PPG turned into the (admittedly endearingly cute) PPGZ - what transformation would CL go through.

One change I can forsee - instead of having three scanning chambers we have one very big machine that acts more like a portal to Lyoko.

Why?

Because that means time can be cut down on Scan sequences and instead spent this way:

The kids go through the 'scanner/portal' and arrive on Lyoko as normal humans - and then they go through a big, fancy, stereotypical Henshin Transformation Sequence!

And what else - Big Foreheads AND Big Eyes? Horribly pronounced names in 'Engrish' or 'Flench?' Or why not relocate the whole thing to Japan and hide the complex under Tokyo Tower?
