But a few weeks ago, my sister went to the vet and found out my dog, Jack, had to be fixed. So TODAY that happened. But Jack always had a bad and serious skin condition. It happened when he became skunked. My family always thought that was the problem. Yes and No. The trauma it caused Jack's system made it to be out of wack. So he scatches and/or chews his hair out. His hair seemed to be healing but it didn't. His whole belly is hairless and a little on his sides and his face under his eyes are a little hairless too.
But then the vets didn't think the skunk caused all of this, thus resulting in an un-authorized biopsy. (My dad wasn't to happy about that...he lost his job including..^^; ) The doctor said she has seen enough dogs like this and they too, got skunked or some chemical got to them. However, that doesn't always cause this, so she said. After about two hours in the vet’s office, I over hear the word " euthanasia"(sp?) and of course I'm in horror. After 10 minutes of crying my dad tells me that the vet is going to adopt my dog.
That made me even more upset, I never really liked Jack, but now, I realize how much I truly, purely love him.
Too add more to this whole ordeal, he may have skin cancer. *sigh* I'm just left here, I don't know what to do. At all..
I swear if that lady doesn't take care of Jack I will come after her with a syringe full of death, then dance upon her grave.
I'm sure you people have gone through this with pets or other beings.
