guy problems

I have no idea what to do... I broke up with my boyfriend 6 weeks ago and now I've got another one. I still like the first one a lot. but I also like the one I have now... My ex knows that I still like him and he even told me that he still likes me. I can actually see the pain in his eyes when he sees me with my new B/f. I feel so guilty. We broke up in the first place because my rents didn't like him as my B/f. They said they only liked him as my friend. That and there were some other problems.

Which leads me to my other problem... He's Mormon. I have nothing against Mormons. A lot of my friends are Mormon. lately though God's put it on my heart to witness to him. Mormons are not Christians. they claim it but technically they aren't because they don't have to ask Jesus in their hearts. It's really sad what they believe.

If this offends an of you I'm sorry.
If anybody could talk with me and give me some verses I could use when i witness to him that would be greatly appreciated. I need all of y'alls prayers.

He's...Methodist? I wanna say that that is what he is. I'm Baptist/Catholic. I'm a bit of a mutt. my Dad's Catholic and my Mom is Baptist. That's got me cornfused. I Just need prayer at the moment for my Mormon friend. I really worry about him sometimes...

The best prayers are the ones you make up yourself. Also, my priest once said that singing is twice as good as praying in God's eyes. Have you asked your parents why they only like him as a friend for you and not a boyfriend? Is it the religion thing?

Mormons consider themselves Christians. They follow the Christian bible, however they claim they found extra books written by a tribe of Native Americans who had some kind of contact with the Holy Land. These extra books, as well as the actual bible, I think, form the "Book of Mormon", their holy book.

However, for reasons that I am unaware of, most Christians do not consider Mormons to be Christian. Though not a Mormon, I have seen a large statue of Jesus Christ in some building of theirs, I forgot what it was, in Salt Lake City near their main tabernacle.

Just to throw it out there, the Mormon Church officially banned the practice of polygamy in 1898, and those Mormons who still practice it are considered to go against the Mormon Church.

2. They(the men) get to become Gods and have many wives with which they will have eternal sex with to inhabit their own planet.
3. They used to kill people who turned from their beliefs. I’m not sure if it is still practiced. It’s called Blood Atonement.
Now you see why I worry about him so much. I just got off the phone with him a few minutes ago and he said he’s having suicidal thoughts again.

To get back on topic, I have two bits of advice for you.

1) You're the one who was going out with him, not your parents. If you still like each other, why break up?
2) His religous beliefs are his own. It is up to him and only him what religion he should follow.

Also, about suicide, this is a situation that should be helped with kindess. Make sure he knows there are people who care about him and love him. Personally, I don't think suicidal thoughts should be dealt with by shoving religion down his throat.
