There's nothing wrong with liking the canon couples...no more than there is liking non-canon couples. To each their own. Let's not knock anyone's choice in couple's here now.

Actually, I currently have a fetish for the Odd/Aelita pairing, but as far as canon goes, Jeremie/Aelita is pretty much undisputable, they are just too sweet together!

Here's an interesting couple that someone should play around with... Yumi/Taelia. They seemed to hate each other in the episode she was in, which could definitely lead to some interesting outcomes.

Even if we weren't talking about a romantic thing with them, I can definitely see some pretty dramatic interactions between the two of them. (Cat fight...! MEEEEOWWWW! *giggle*)

Well...I wouldn't exactly call it hate....Yumi just didn't take very well to Taelia. However, the reason for that might have been that not only did she not believe that Taelia was Aelita (and was right, as per usual), but the fact that no one took her word for it in the beginning, and everyone totally blew her off when she asked for moral support on her big history project. So I think it was one of those, "having a bad day, and you're indirectly the cause of it" dis-likings, and even then, Yumi didn't display any hostility towards Taelia...just suspicion.

Taelia was an orphan too, though. I'm not saying that excuses her rudeness, but I've heard that not all orphanages are the greatest of places. She's probably had a really hard time either way. And Odd did sound a bit like he was hitting on her. His sentence almost sounded like the classic, "Hey, haven't I seen you before?" conversation starter. Either way, Taelia was not a very friendly person, yes, but she's not had it easy to begin with, most likely. *shrug*

Do you think Taelia will be in season 2? Id like to see her there. It would be a great idea if she really discovered about Lyoko and became a part of the team. Maybe if she is virtualized, XANA will be confused saying "which one is Aelita?"
