That would be... absolutely horrible. I can't imagine why she would do that. It's more than likely that she is telling the truth. At least as she knows it.

Of course, there is always the looming threat that, while it is in planning now, it could just stop or fade from existence. (Like most of my fanfics.)

I had to show her where CL is really made. It's not Canada, but France.

Well, reading the CL Novels thread, it's possible that this might be for that "sitcom" that was announced a while ago...

You'd think she would have specified that.

I certainly hope the sitcom idea was canned. That would be VERY unlikely to end up decent.

Yeah, something that will totally kill the franchise's popularity. The show was not meant to be a sitcom.

If this DOES happen, I really hope CN won't pick it up, since it'd be live action, apparently.

They'd probably end up screwing everything up. Aelita would probably end up blonde, Jim would be nice, etc.

Well, that's good at least. But please, DON'T PIVK IT UP CN. If Jim's gonna be a sweetie, it should be in the cartoon.

That would awful if it turned out that they made Code Lyoko Live Action could you imagine how crappy it would be? Anyway, A new season might be nice but i dont see how it could work really unless it would be like my fan script i used to write and i said "The Anti-Xana program was only termporary."

See, I'm not really looking forward to a potential fifth season, because anything they choose to do will likely end up being dull and boring—it'll take an extreme surge of originality to make the new season interesting, some sort of unexpected plot-twist, which I'm worried the writer's aren't really capable of.

I still like the anime of some other animantion studio taking up the series or a mangaka/comic book artisit taking the series into their own hands and tweaking it into something new—a different apporach, maybe something less “campyâ€

I would think it'll be really disappointing. There's just something not right with turning animated characters into real persons, especially for series with a unique art style. Part of the series is lost through that translation. Of course, there are a few exceptions but I have my doubts they can pull it off.

Her other voice directing roles have been in Totally Spies, Silverwing, Best Ed, and Moonscoop's own Growing Up Creepie.

And I see no reason for her to lie. We know people are enthusiastic about not letting CL die, whether or not they have a good chance.

Not to play the village pessimist, but she could've gotten confused.

Anyway, moving my way into the village idiot, was Code: Lyoko getting VA action in English around the same time it was getting French?

The original French version came out in France in September 2003 (In fact, today is CL's 6th birthday) and the English dub wasn't released until April 2004, so I doubt they were made at the same time.

Guess I'm the village pessimist—unless rumors have been flying around France, I doubt they'd be getting an English cast up and ready without a French cast and series for that matter ready and reving.

Alright, I think I'll pretend to be the village “realistâ€

If by some unfortunate chance we do get a new voice cast.. you know who'd make an awesome Franz Hopper in such an event? Michael Dorn.

I can practically guarantee that in the new-voice-cast scenario, we'd just get fair impressions of the previous cast.

Very interesting discoveries Angie...this should prove interesting, though if the current cast get replaced it will be a sad moment.

That said, Canada has some of the best vocal talents involved in Western Animation and Anime dubbing, so it stands to be a curious development, but I wonder if any cast, no matter how talented, would be able to recapture the amazing group dynamic the current cast have when working together

Well, if anything, I'll fan-girl my little heart out if Scott McNeil has a shot at it, even if it's a minor role.

>w<

You know what would be an amazing improvement? If the Supercomputer could talk, ha-ha. If it can take someone into a virtual world, surely it should come equip with the ability to chat someone up.

DD:<

... I guess, well, technically Aelita played that role for a bit so...

Ah, once again I friggin' failed. D ;

She probably cast some new characters to add onto the old ones. Wikipeedia won't let me post the good news.
