Dylan Klebold's Mom Speaks Out To Oprah!

Postby . » Wed Oct 14, 2009 1:04 am

You all know my love of information about Columbine. Next month in Oprah's Magazine, their gonna publish an article from the mother of Dylan Klebold. Heres the link: http://www.aolhealth.com/condition-cent ... ue-klebold

I am semi-interested in this, because of the two of them, Klebold wasn't bat shit crazy. FBI Pysche profile found that had he never met Harris, he probably would of been a mild criminal and most likely reformed himself later on in life. He wasn't the sociopath, Harris was.

I feel bad for his mama though, she obviously clinging to the one thing she imagines drove her son to do this thing... It wasn't the suicidal thoughts, though they probably didn't help. Eric Harris is the one I put the full blame upon.

It was the video game Doom. Everyone knows that's what it was. :pbthbb:

JF, I'd be careful before making pithy and unfounded statements like that. There was clearly a lot more motivation involved, one being that Harris was, if I remember clearly, a path of psycho.

No matter who "started" it, though, the fact is that he followed through with it...it's disgusting. I, too, feel terrible for her. Only someone with no awareness or sympathy for others would put that kind of weight on someone's shoulders, setting killing fifteen people aside for the sake of the argument.

Common misconception, I'd correct you if I thought for a second you were serious

That smiley did not properly convey the bitterness I feel in this regard, and I apologise.

I 'm just bitter. I'm so tired of talking to the parents of some of my friends and having them call video games "murder prep" simulators.

I should of used the :arg:

Thanks, Columbine is of interest to me. And yeah, he wasn't totally normal, but way more stable than Harris.

Hard to believe it was over a decade ago. I remember being 10 in 1999 and seeing the news reports.
Hey Rambo, throw me a shotgun!
