I think all of you will agree that the worst part about CL forums was the wait until season 2. It was bad at Tvtome, Tv.com, and I think LF. CL just get's boring with nothing new to talk about. Do you want that to happen again? Moonscope and Cartoon Network, think about what you're doing! The last episode of season 2, The Key, is sceduled to air on December 1st. Season 3 will start in September 2006! That's a 9 month wait! Why do you have to put us in misery again! And right when Code Lyoko is the most popular it has ever been! Do they want it to die out? What are they thinking?!?!?

...I'm sure they'll have reruns.. and.. um.. IDK! God, Un Monde Sans Danger was almost dead when it got really bad over the summer. But... making new episodes takes a long, LONG time. AND they have to render the 3D. And do the voicing for both French AND English. I'm not happy about it, but you've got to give Antefilms a break.

Are you seriously comparing CL to Jimmy Neutron? It takes a wholeeee lot more time and effort to make good CL eps. I mean honestly if they just churned them out like that all the episodes would start getting really bland and just plain stupid.

Example:

CN: OMG!! NEW SEASON OF CL IN ONLY A MONTH w00t!!

Synopsis- XANA takes over a bunch of toothpicks and the gang gets some "owies".

I completely agree with Your-Devirtualization. You just cry for 9 months... how lame. the best things take time, unlike b**ls**t like Jimmy Neutron or any other kiddy cartoon around there.

At least you guys have CN-USA. At LatinAmerica, you wouldn't even have a clue for when CL Season 2 airs.

Fine, not Jimmy Neutron. Totally Spies akes new episodes more rapidly than CL. Totally Spies is also made in France and is the same type of show.

Just on the off chance you people who whine about the nine months don't know... Digital 3D animation is one of the most difficult artistic forms there is. And it costs quite a lot. Be thankful that they're churning 'em out as fast as they are - most filming and art corporations might have one episode to show for a year and a half of work - we get 26.

For some reason, you people don't get that CL's popularity will be killed! Who cares about the quailty of the animation if nobdy watches it.

Will you stop complaining already? Nine months? How long did we wait for season 2? Season 1 ended around May of 2004, and season 2 restarted in September of this year, so it isn't too bad, relatively speaking.

Also, I think Code: LYOKO is a season-by-season thing. Seasons are only given the "okay, go!" after the producers think the ratings are high and consistent. Other shows, such as Teen Titans, are given the go ahead for four seasons at a time, and the episodes are aired on a weekly basis. Code: LYOKO isn't made in huge batches, and we get our episodes everyday.

Anyway, at least we're getting a season three, heh.

I see not reason to complain. I mean, we only wait for more than a year for S2. l-l3[[ look at tvtome. We talked about S1 for about forever, Im sure we could take the time to re-watch, and re analyze episodes after everything, and with this new knowledge, make new predictions. All we know is now that things go deeper than just getting aelita to the real world.

Still, you have to be upset with another almost year wait... Tvtome almost fell apart because of the wait.

Good point! And 2D animation too, also takes a great deal of time, since it's hand drawn! Animation is a very difficult art form, but entirely awesome.

I still hold that TV Tome never really fell apart. I know I enjoyed talking at TV Tome for the duration of the time I was there and I never once had a dull moment. The same shall be for LF. ^_^

9 months is nothing. We really did wait longer for season 1, and don't forget, there's also the prequel which may easily come out before season 3 and whet our appetites. That is, of course, if they need to be whetted at all. Season 2 reruns will keep me entertained just fine, as the season 1 reruns did. 9 months will be a blink.

There's no need to start worrying so early. Season 2 hasn't even played all the way through yet. We can't panic over something that hasn't even happened yet, and likely won't even happen at all in some cases. Hakuna Matata. :D

Basically, you didn't got much involved into fights at TvTome, my dear Mew. And we all definately have very different POV's from TvTome, depending on how much we posted or used its information.

I agree with you and Betelgeuse about the people to stop complaining for lack of Code Lyoko. You guys already know that the Season finale hits by December, but who says it will be removed inmediately?

God, I don't even have a f**king clue for when Season 2 airs on Jetix, so all those who complain about lack of Code Lyoko and waiting for 9 months to air again should please shut up.

Anyone knows if Season 3 is 45 episodes or the 45 episodes are divided into two seasons? There's nothing that makes me sure of that thought, anyways.

Ah, that's true. Very true. Then, at least, for me TV Tome didn't seem to fall apart. ^_^ A very good point. Oh, I've really been trying to search for season 3 info and season 2 release info for LatinAmerica and the UK. You guys have been waiting the longest of all for season 2 to air. I truly hope I (or someone else) will find something that says it will come there soon!

Yeah, Mewberries, I don't know where you were, Tvtome was definitly falling apart. And I admit my part of the blame for it. But mostly it was becuase we had nothing better to talk about, and the forum got into arguments, and wasn't as popular.

Well, I only can remember two or three really big fights during the months that CL wasn't playing at all. And I remember alot of really good threads occuring during the last few months. We had a bit of season 2 info come in towards the end which was really exciting and alot of new members join as well (particularly after the announcement of TVT's sale) so it couldn't have been losing popularity that much either. I'm not saying that it wasn't different from when season 1 was first airing. But, for me, being at TV Tome during the CL off-season months weren't awful. :)

And I still can't imagine anything of the sort happening here at LF. We've got a fantastic admin and a wonderful battalion of Mods to make sure we all get along nice and have fun things to chat about. TVT may not have had a "General Discussion" board, but LF sure does. :D

I told you it will be hard to find out something for LatinAmerica, but you can keep trying. I would try making a phone call to Jetix to find out about it, Most likely, it would air in January 2006.

Dylan0513 wrote:And I admit my part of the blame for it. But mostly it was becuase we had nothing better to talk about, and the forum got into arguments, and wasn't as popular.

Well, TvTome had their forum side to talk about general stuff. Yet many show had always their communities. There was a community for each show. But spamming on show forums was against the rules.

In the ER case (the second forum I most posted), there was no problem. No wars, spamming (in talking sense) and games threads were good. Even when tv.com started, the community didn't fell apart.

But for the CL TvTome case (the one I ended up hanging around), Gino tried Distance for us to go and talk non-related CL stuff, but it was a big failure, due to the fact that not all the TvTomers were there and it wasn't just the same thing.

But Lyoko Freak does allow general discussion on the appropiate boards. And BKO was made for the intentions to go under less stricted rules and free from younger CL fans. IMO, LF will take the challenge. Believe me, BKO will get more posts when Season 2 ends... maybe not.

Heck, I don't know what is my point right now. XD
