Scyphozoa?

Postby comex » Sun Dec 18, 2005 3:00 pm

How is it known that the correct spelling is, indeed, Scyphozoa? That's used on Wikipedia's article (which I'm sure is mostly populated by LF members) also, although I usually call it Scipizoa (and one person has named eir username after that spelling). Since I have never actually seen the closed caption, do said captions provide the spelling as Scyphozoa?

Scyphozoa is a jellyfish. The key stealing monster is a jellyfish and Scyphozoa looks almost like the way that they say it. hehe on my Ocean Science homework on Scyphozoans I drew them all over it.

But, I have not seen the CC for the spelling, but I'm sure it would say "Scyphozoa"

Out here in the US there is no captioning.

Anyway, it is "Scyphzoa".

There's already a thread about this at LF. And to asnwer the author's question, it is indeed Scyphozoa. Locking this.
