I'm for either Franz Hopper or some un-named individual, just to show the consequences and really bring home the responsibility they have taken upon themselves. And just because someone dies doesn't mean they have to die in a way that will increase their rating.
A well thought out death will avoid any change in ratings. Take for example Hamato Yoshi in TMNT 2K3, various humans and gargoyles in Gargoyles, Detective Boeman and Dan Turpin from Superman: TAS, or Ben Parker from the 90s Spiderman. Its not if a person dies that matters, its whether they were done tastefully and not graphically.

I always thought that appoach is best. We get moral issues within the gang questioning about what their are doing. I love to see that. Routine is the closest I can think of that happening.

I was on fanfiction.net, and Odd really did die in a series of stories, but back on topic...
I think that if they killed anyone, it would ruin something in the show. I can't explain what I mean, but I just think it would partially ruin it.

I read the same Fan fiction. How would it ruin the show if someone died? If anything it would make the show better.

Yeah, I WAS gonna put nobody should die, but... then I saw William's name. DIEEEEE! (And, plus, it would make for a more dramatic plot. Perhaps it happened right before Ulrich and Yumi actually went on a date, and she just broke down and shut herself up in her room, and he has to try to console her and stuff.... yay drama!)

Now that I think about it- If one of Yumi's parents died, she would probably quit the team. And make Ulrich all upset, and the other's would need her help. So, it would make a pretty good plotline.
...And alot of UlrichxYumi fluff...
