How could this happen to me

Ok, some people at my school make fun of Kimberly and me liking her, recently Johnny [ a mix of William Sissi and xana at least I think] has been making fun of Kimberly's last name [which is Gooch].I was wondering should i tell her about it or would that be a really bad mistake. What if I tell her I think the opposite. Would that be a good idea?

As long as you don't say 'Oh, your last name is really dumb', then she'll be your friend! It's not right to let someone tease you guys like that, even if you think it makes you sound like a tattletale, you're being defensive for your friend, and that's a very brave thing to do.

If you and she actually have any sort of real friendship, I don't see how telling her that people are making fun of her will ruin it. In fact, it might be more dangerous to your relationship NOT to tell her. After all, what if she finds out about all this? Do you think she would appreciate knowing that you knew she was beng laughed at and didn't tell her?

Aelita made some very good suggestions about what to do. It may be hard to tell someone, but in the end it'll be better. Good luck.
