What's with the outfits?!

I'm just wondering why do all the girls have little short things for outfits? You can see Yumi and Sissy's bellies, and Aleita's dress is alarminglty short! I'm not trying to say anything bad, but, what's up with that?

It's called a Jumper (a mix between a dress and overalls). Aelita wears a purple Jumper, with a pink hoodie underneath.


^^; I wrote at least two huge posts about this at IMDB...if I get a chance to, I'll copy and paste them here, but a sum-up of my arguement is basically that I agree with everyone who's said they've seen worse or that midriffs nowadays are really not a big deal, which is absolutely true in general society. And massive kudos to Metrion for his statement. That is an excellent point as it is quite obvious that Yumi and Sissi wear the clothing that they do either for the sake of comfort or fashion, and for no particular reason other than that.

Yeah. For what I assume is supposed to be a girls series, they show a LOT of skin (and yet, the skirts seem to be adequte coverage...)

I don't think the problem is the clothes that the girls wearing I think the problem is how our country looks at it. Look at some of the seens where yumi and sissy are in bra and panties. Do you think that would fly if the show was made in america? and lets not talk about all the people who are parcaily nude are 12-14 years old. but over all its not that bad and could be worse. And you all should also think about the part of the world this show comes from and you'll see that this kinda thing is not a big deal to them. On hot days some people walk around topless thats just the way things are.

Why is that this is Code Lyoko not porn there not doing anything suggestive. When people get up in the morning thats what they are wearing, this makes the show seem hmm REAL. When I get up in the morning I am wearing boxers and I bet you are too this is life why should it bug you.

They DO wear pajamas. They apparently just change really quickly. But one thing that made me go "AAHHH" was the fact that in "A Great Day" Sissi woke up with a bra on (either that or she just put it on right after she woke up and stretched). I've never had a problem with the way they dress. The only thing that gets me is when my sister points out that sometimes Odd's pink undershirt (or what ever you want to call it) disapears and it's bare skin.

Indeed. I don't know where LyokoDude got the idea that they don't sleep in PJs (with the exception of Sissi in that one episode...in all the other's she also had on PJs). Jeremie's PJs are a light blue ensemble, while both Odd and Ulrich wear a t-shirt and shorts in place of traditional PJs. Aelita has a nightshirt, but that's just another kind of pajama. I'm not quite sure where everyone gets the idea that there's tons of "underwear" in this show. There's some, but it's certainly not, "In Your Face" in any sense. This reminds me of an episode of Becker for some reason...

The only thing I can think of...is that Neon Green is referring to her Lyoko outfit in which she wears a very short skirt with some sort of pants underneath. This isn't a dress, and yes, it is short, but she's wearing pants under it, so how is that any different from Sissi's ensemble?

Ulrich wears a skin-tight wife beater and shorts.

I'm pretty sure Odd's undershirt disappearing is just a coloring problem. I've seen it, too. It happens often enough, so you'd think that they'd figure out the problem by now... o_0
