I thought your mom mysteriously disappeared in The Key... :*D

Star Way says I gotta stop RPing to get into BKO since x1 isn't replying... but she hasn't even replied back, and I'm still locked out T-T

You're right TPP, I didn't get it.

EDIT: AND she didn't disappear in 'The Key', she disappeared about 20 years ago.

Er, sorry, this is waaaaay off topic, but what's BKO? I'm just a little curious...

I agree with everyone who has posted before me. You seem like you're very smart. Before I started Community College, I basically had a 2.1 GPA. This is basically a C average.
It's wrong of them to compare you to other people.

BKO is Big Kids Only. 13 year olds and older are able to go to those forums. I think they stopped letting people in though.

Um...no, he's not. His online time is limited though; he's a very busy person. So just be patient with him, please. He'll get to you eventually. ^^

Right about BKO, but wrong about the access to it. The common misconception about BKO access, I believe, is that once you get the post count, you're automatically in. This is not so. Otherwise, we'd get a whole bunch of spam posts just for the sake of reaching the 50 post count. Your posts have to be good ones (at least in a general sense...not spam-ish like), I believe. You also have to be over 13...and have proven that you'd be able to act appropriately within that forum as well.

Just give X1 some time everyone. He can't always be on everyday, and he can't always answer his PMs...especially if there's a ton of your PM-ing him. Just be patient, alright? :)

That could be one...But I remember what I first thought. If you look at the usergroups and check out BKO, under membership it says: "This is a closed group: no more users accepted." I think this easily leads people to believe that BKO is closed and that no new members can join it...

Back on topic...Same here with my parents. I have two friends who go to Hunter College High School and Brooklyn Tech and my parents are like, "Well, Look at them! They can get in and we bet even if you DID take the test you wouldn't be able to get in....Blah blah blah...Even your friend (bleh) got into Brooklyn Tech. Look at you!"....I'm expected to get perfect scores in Math, Bio (because they say my dad can help...), Spanish. And to get above 95's everywhere else (especially English ('cause that's my worst subject)) And if I can't do that I'm forced to study for an entire weekend non-stop...

Sorry...just going off-topic once more. ^^

Trust me though...if BKO access were to be closed, everyone would be notified, most likely through a thread in "Site News". That would be a big change to the forum...we wouldn't just leave you all hanging like that without telling you. ^^;

Hakuna Matata everyone. All of you BKO applicants will be contacted eventually. Just be patient. ^_^

Just as of note, how do the A-F grades compare to the english levels (1-8)system?
Also, what i find is that marks change a lot depending on your teachers, for example, maths in year7 i was joint 2nd, last year i had a rubbish teacher and came 10th, and this year im currently 1st. Also in french and german I have teachers i dont like, and was told i could get "a C, if i try hard". so I think it depends a lot on teachers, as well as yourself.

Also, i find it easier when my mum doesnt bother me about homework, although it does mean i slack off.... but it lets me do things at my own pace

well I have the same problem, and my dad being an ex-marine I think I have an idea of what your parents are like, first thing, the fact that you're smart means nothing (I should know I'm probably the smartest kid in my school and I get terrible grades which my dad constantly rides me about) now I have said it before and I shall say it again a great reference for problems like these is Sean Covey's "Seven Habits for Highly Effective Teens", I'm guessing the problem is that you have caved in to your parents demands so many times before that they now expect it of you, there are only three ways to deal with this I will list them in order of effectiveness
1. let your parents know that although you used to always cave into their demands it won't happen again and they should stop trying
2. take their mind off of that by being really good or bad in another area i.e. sports, reading etc..
3. (not recomended) do really badly in school on purpose, in other words lower their standards so much that a be seems to be a blessing from the heavens (again not recomended, use only as a very last resort, after all the other plans, including ones not mentioned here, have failed multiple times)
A lot of member have sigs that say"I'm a boy", or "I'm a girl", I refuse to join this trend.
