I came up with another idea for an episode of CL! =D In it, Ulrich, for some reason, falls under XANA's control after XANA notices that Ulrich doesn't like Sissi. Ulrich is placed under his power only hours after a Crab fires a laser. But this is no normal laser. It is a laser that has the ability to get inside a person's mind and control their heart, filling them with hatred over certain individuals. When Ulrich is walking to Yumi's house a day later, he notices Sissi walking in the opposite direction across the street. He shoots a stern, hateful look at her and walks off. Sissi is confused by this behavior. The next day, Sissi walks into Ulrich and Odd's room to ask him why he's been acting strangely, but upon seeing her face, his hands reach for her neck and he starts to choke her! Odd runs in and pulls Sissi away from Ulrich's grip. He lands right on top of her, and they look into each other's eyes for a long time.
A few days later, at the Factory, Jeremie is also concerned about Ulrich's hateful behavior. Aelita suggests that it may be XANA's doing. Odd has no choice but to bring Sissi to the factory, to protect her from Ulrich, who has been taken over by XANA.

Hmm...if this is in the same continuality as 'Children of the Night', 'Dating Dilemma' etc. then you're contradicting yourself with introducing Sissi to the team when we originally came up with an idea for how to do that.
My suggestion would be that this could be just after 'Children of the Night' - Sissi is beginning to remember, the group isn't comfortable with this and emotions are running high - especially after Odd decides to help Sissi through the trauma of reintegrating her memories (suddenly remembering being attacked by a space monster would give me nightmares I can tell you).
In this emotional mix, XANA decides to play a new hand by trying a 'half-posession'. Now we know that XANA's can't posess Ulrich, Odd, Yumi, Aelita etc, but what if he didn't need to - what if he concentrated his spectre into not controlling someone, but just altering their mood - plausible and possible.
So, XANA uses a stooge again (like that boy from SVD) to post a letter to Ulrich, one containing a spectre. He opens the letter, reads it, discards it, and when he's not looking a spectre emerges from the envelope and enters him (Ulrich does not realise either), twisting his emotional mood from moody to downright agressive/hateful (Ulrich would be the easiest to make the change in).
Subsequently he distances himself from Odd, verbally attacks Jeremie, hurts Yumi's feelings and possibly physically harms Aelita, seeing her as the source of his woe ("IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! YOU AND YOUR INSANE FATHER!").
XANA's objective, aside from breaking up the team, is to try and goad Ulrich into destroying the supercomputer or the scanners in his anger, thus removing the only tools the kids have to fight him with now that he has left the computer.
Obviously this leaves subplot potential open - this could be the episode where Sissi proves herself to the group on Earth, leaving the next one open for her first sortie to Lyoko - also having Ulrich break off with them could prompt a little 'bonding' between the other characters - Aelita would go to Jeremie for comforting, Odd might get even closer to Sissi and Yumi could hook up again with 'outsider' William just to get revenge on Ulrich.
As for the climax, we could have Odd, Yumi and Aelita in Lyoko trying to deactivate the tower, Ulrich trying to attack Jeremie on Earth, and then Sissi stepping in unexpectedly (Odd tipped her off on the situation) cueing a martial-arts fight between her and Ulrich.
Any good?
Oh, and if you like the idea I have a title suggestion - 'Hate Mail'.

I like this idea, TB3! And the title is perfect! =D You should write the script for this too sometime. May I make a few suggestions?

Taelia, and TB3. You two are seriously the best thing to hit Code: Lyoko fan-dom. 
This idea is great. (And not only because it involves Ulrich
) But because I could actually see this happining in one of the eposodes.
I've already mentioned this to Taelia, But I have an idea for an ending. When Ulrich is still in his hatred stage, he says something that could hurt Yumi really bad. ((Not sure what yet)) And then when he get's cured, he apologises for whatever he did wrong. Yumi is still very affected by it, and starts to tear up. Ulrich, hugs her and tell's her he's sorry again. He says something funny, and she smiles.

Great idea, TB3. One thought: When/if Ulrich attacks Aelita, she kicks his ass... without actually laying a finger on him, Roadrunner V Wil E Cyotee style.

I'll be more specific: How many eps have we thought up (about six?), how many eps should we aim for for the season and where do our existing ideas go in the season?

Glad everyone likes the ideas Taelia and I churn out. Well if anyone's interested I've got a few ideas and plots and titles for our virtual season. I'll give you a tease;
WIPING THE SLATE - First episode. Jeremie begins a system-wide purge and reboot of Lyoko, until XANA intervenes.
END OF THE LINE - After the Christmas Special the kids are returning home from the holidays, and Jeremie sets about bringing the supercomputer back online from a shut-down. XANA however, uses the oppurtunity to display his new strength by directly controlling an object hundreds of miles away (never done before) - the train bringing Ulrich home from a skiing holiday with his parents.
ROAD RAGE (after Sissi joins the group) - an auto-show at Kadic is hijacked when XANA posesses several famous movie cars and imbues each with a unique combat ability (each a homage to a famous movie car). Unable to reach the factory, Jeremie is forced to resort to a move that risks everything the kids have struggled to keep secret.
EDIT:
And as a taunt - I have this one line for Jim to utter to one of the kids just before the RTTP wipes his memory.
"Woah - I havn't seen anything like this since Project Carthage."
Ain't I a stinker?

After some thoughts by Animenologist in the Season3/4 theories thread I've reworked my initial ideas for how to start our Virtual Season.
END OF THE LINE
Open to a picture of Franz Hopper taped to a blank computer screen. Cue narration by Jeremie as we pan back to reveal Jeremie walking around the various levels of the factory bringing everything online. It's the end of the holidays and while the team has been split up he's deactivated the complex.
"Franz Hopper - a reclusive genius with a vision - a dream that was twisted into a nightmare by the military that funded his research."
Jeremie primes a diesel generator.
"Disgusted by his brilliant concepts being developed as weapons Hopper fled that project, and moved here where he could build a counter-weapon in secret."
Jeremie climbs down to the computer level and turns over the power systems. He enters the elevator and enters the scanner room. Each machine is inactive, and Jeremie walks from one to the other and turns them on, their doors popping open as they whine into life.
"And Hopper suceeded in his creation - the advanced offensive AI XANA - but years of solitude, work and persecution by governement agents led him to also create a sanctuary for himself and his family."
Jeremie brings the holosphere online and the map of Lyoko appears.
"And so Hopper created Lyoko - a virtual world without danger - but he was betrayed by XANA, and became his first victim. His daughter..."
Cut to the Ishiyama residence, where Yumi and Aelita are together washing the dishes. It's a warm, cosy and tranquil scene.
"...was the second."

Later the two girls sneak out to join Odd and Jeremie at the factory and they talk very breifly after a warm greeting - the kids haven't seen each other in ages.
Jeremie brings up the subject of where Ulrich is and Yumi explains he's coming home from the Alps on a skiing tour. At this point the old scanner program goes off, alerting them to a activated tower, but because he's still booting up the system Jeremie can't pinpoint it.
As the kids prepare for their first Lyoko sortie since The Key the camera pushes in on the flashing holosphere map.
CUT to the blazing furnace of a steam locomotive, and then pan back to reveal the female engineer (who is called Alex) working the controls. The train, specially chartered to bring back the skiing holidaymakers (including Ulrich's family), is steaming through the French Alps in the middle of a blizzard.

Shortly after the train becomes a runaway after the controls become posessed by XANA - Ulrich calls the team for help and Jeremie is stunned - XANA is now directly posessing an object hundreds of miles away, a first.
The climax is that Ulrich ends up working with Alex, the engineer, to save all the passengers, including his family, but Alex is killed before a RTTP is triggered off (we don't have to show this, but show the locomotive toppling off the rails and Alex falling towards camera as Ulrich grabs a lever for support).

After the RTTP the team is waiting in the control room for Ulrich to call, each nervously hoping they deactivated the tower in time.
The phone rings and Yumi sighs in relief. Jeremie picks up with a smile.
"Ulrich?"
"Yeah, it's me," he sounds more despondant than usual. The kids don't notice and cheer in their way. Jeremie replies.
"Glad to know you're okay."
Ulrich suddenly sniffs, and the kids realise he's crying.
"I'm okay but...but...Alex..."
Cut to Ulrich using the train's phone, he looks outside to where an ambulance stands in a station carpark, and a stretcher is slowly brought on and loaded into it - the body covered from head to toe in a white shroud. Ulrich tires to hold in his tears as mournfull music plays.
"XANA - took a life..."
The party atmosphere is killed in the control room as the kids realise an innocent has died because they failed to act in time.

As you can see the details still need to be fleshed out, but the upshot of this is that Aelita and Jeremie become divided as a result of Alex's death, a small story-arc that Animenologist suggested.
This might be a bit too despondant for a season's opening episode, but I'd like to know what you think.

I love that Idea, TB3. It's a perfect idea for an opening eposode.
It's a pretty actiony one, so it will catch alot of people's attention. And it would be the first time we have someone die in the show.
You should seriously get a job at the studio of CL.

Hmm...being pragmatic but this is one instance where an RTTP would fix everything - we'll need Ulrich to trash the STM (the bit that allows RTTPs - it's a circular machine under the floor around the holosphere) to ensure a plot - this could also suggest a plot for the next episode with Jeremie trying to repair it.
Deactivating a tower would also solve Ulrich's problem (and ultimately will), but since moods are triggered by hormones enough positive emotions would level him out - maybe Yumi could try and talk him down.

What about: 'With XANA gone, Jeremy and the still-trapped Franz take the oppertunity to uprgrade the Lyoko meta-program..but they have to do so without Aelita, who is refusing to help her father. But when an unknown virus gets into the system, Lyoko becomes a very strange, unstable place...and the real world is suffering for it.'

1) Could we set the Christmas special ('CLAUS FOR CONCERN' if no-one has a better idea) after Sissi has joined?
2) The computer will be needed over X-Mas.

I doubt the RTTP's still boost XANA's power since he's not as intergral to the system anymore.

Open to a picture of Franz Hopper taped to a blank computer screen. Cue narration by Jeremie as we pan back to reveal Jeremie walking around the various levels of the factory bringing everything online. It's the end of the holidays and while the team has been split up he's deactivated the complex.
"Franz Hopper - a reclusive genius with a vision - a dream that was twisted into a nightmare by the military that funded his research."
Jeremie primes a diesel generator.
"Disgusted by his brilliant concepts being developed as weapons Hopper fled that project, and moved here where he could build a counter-weapon in secret."
Jeremie climbs down to the computer level and turns over the power systems. He enters the elevator and enters the scanner room. Each machine is inactive, and Jeremie walks from one to the other and turns them on, their doors popping open as they whine into life.
"And Hopper suceeded in his creation - the advanced offensive AI XANA - but years of solitude, work and persecution by governement agents led him to also create a sanctuary for himself and his family."
Jeremie brings the holosphere online and the map of Lyoko appears.
"And so Hopper created Lyoko - a virtual world without danger - but he was betrayed by XANA, and became his first victim. His daughter..."
Cut to the Ishiyama residence, where Yumi and Aelita are together washing the dishes. It's a warm, cosy and tranquil scene.
"...was the second."

Later the two girls sneak out to join Odd and Jeremie at the factory and they talk very breifly after a warm greeting - the kids haven't seen each other in ages.
Jeremie brings up the subject of where Ulrich is and Yumi explains he's coming home from the Alps on a skiing tour. At this point the old scanner program goes off, alerting them to a activated tower, but because he's still booting up the system Jeremie can't pinpoint it.
As the kids prepare for their first Lyoko sortie since The Key the camera pushes in on the flashing holosphere map.
CUT to the blazing furnace of a steam locomotive, and then pan back to reveal the female engineer (who is called Alex) working the controls. The train, specially chartered to bring back the skiing holidaymakers (including Ulrich's family), is steaming through the French Alps in the middle of a blizzard.

Shortly after the train becomes a runaway after the controls become posessed by XANA - Ulrich calls the team for help and Jeremie is stunned - XANA is now directly posessing an object hundreds of miles away, a first.
The climax is that Ulrich ends up working with Alex, the engineer, to save all the passengers, including his family, but Alex is killed before a RTTP is triggered off (we don't have to show this, but show the locomotive toppling off the rails and Alex falling towards camera as Ulrich grabs a lever for support).

After the RTTP the team is waiting in the control room for Ulrich to call, each nervously hoping they deactivated the tower in time.
The phone rings and Yumi sighs in relief. Jeremie picks up with a smile.
"Ulrich?"
"Yeah, it's me," he sounds more despondant than usual. The kids don't notice and cheer in their way. Jeremie replies.
"Glad to know you're okay."
Ulrich suddenly sniffs, and the kids realise he's crying.
"I'm okay but...but...Alex..."
Cut to Ulrich using the train's phone, he looks outside to where an ambulance stands in a station carpark, and a stretcher is slowly brought on and loaded into it - the body covered from head to toe in a white shroud. Ulrich tires to hold in his tears as mournfull music plays.
"XANA - took a life..."
The party atmosphere is killed in the control room as the kids realise an innocent has died because they failed to act in time.

As you can see the details still need to be fleshed out, but the upshot of this is that Aelita and Jeremie become divided as a result of Alex's death, a small story-arc that Animenologist suggested.
This might be a bit too despondant for a season's opening episode, but I'd like to know what you think.
And Taelia, sorry if I'm diverting your thread, say the word and I'll remove this post.

Um... leave End of the line until after 'Claus for Concern', I think.
But I like Jeremie's narration. THAT would work great as part of the first ep.

Hmm...I agree with you about the RTTPs Cassius - as for the other eps I've reordered them a bit.

This is now the first ep, picking up at the beginning of the new term at Kadic - this is also the first person someone dies - a railroad engineer named Alex.
WIPING THE SLATE
Jeremie begins to reboot the system in order to try and find Franz Hopper on Lyoko, but the divide between him and Aelita over the death of an innocent begins to show.

As for Jim, he's never really had the oppurtunity to mention any connection with Project Carthage - even in the Code Earth/False Start episode. My thinking is that since Jim was a military engineer, and Project Carthage was a military project, Jim and his batallion could have been involved in the construction side. I also theorise he left the army after developing some memory-loss issues (how else could he not remember Aelita as Hopper's daughter - she must have gone to Kadic years ago and he's been working there for 20 years!) for which he eventually recieved treatment in a physciatric hospital, and he then worked there for a short while before returning to Kadic.

Just because Jim was part of the military, doesn't mean he would be part of or even know the Carthage Project. From the picture in the credits, the Carthage project would have taken place in the year '74 and we know that Hopper actively rebelled in the year '94 at the latest. According to you, we would place Jim's age around his 40s. Say the current year is 2004 (the year Code Lyoko aired). When the Carthage project started, he would only be in his early teens. When he got into military age, the project would have been 10 years old and if its as confidential a project as we're led to believe, he won't be doing anything related to top secret project right out of the gate. And by the time he would have gotten any time to be trusted with work on a secret project, he would of already had to transfer out in order to be able to pursue other careers and becoming a PE teacher. And of course there is the possibility that they could of gave the project to a private contractor. So Jim knowing of the project in any significant capacity would be unlikely.
Also remember that Aelita disappeared 10 years ago. Although Jim has some suspicions on Aelita, it would be an incredibly crazy idea (however true it may be) to think that this 12 year old is the same 12 year old from 10 years back, especially with false evidence lined up (school records linking her as a cousin to Odd, possibly false birth certificate and city records, and probably a way to falsely pay for her schooling as well as her cellular account). Aelita may have also been incredibly introverted and not necessarily drawn major attention to herself, so Jim may not remember her. I have problems myself remembering people from 2-3 years back. Ten years means I'll forget someone I don't pay attention to completely.
Also the only thing that would throw a kink into your psychiatric ward idea, would be if Delmas has worked at Kadic as long as or longer than Jim. The principal and Jim have some sorta aquaintanceship going. Jim seems to the faculty member involved concerning disciplinary consultance and action. And Jim did try to discuss matters concerning Ms. Hertz, almost in a buddy like moment. If Jim has served any time off in a psychiatric ward, Delmas should know it.

One problem here: This would not have been the first time someone has died on them (they already know in Teddygodzilla that if someone dies, the RTTP won't revive them). And Alex's death is more likely to mess with Ulrich's head than cause trouble between Jeremie and Aelita

Who really knows where they got RTTP doesn't bring back dead people. It could of been in a manual or Aelita could of told them. Same thing of how Jeremie suddenly thought it would be possible to materialize people when he first met Aelita. And I agree with Cassius355, for a XANA attack to really strongly affect Aelita and Jeremie, the attack really has to be more directly related to the two. Though I don't see how you can do that since Aelita has to go to Lyoko to do it. The only way for the attack to affect Jeremie and Aelita so greatly would be for a big consequential screw-up by Jeremie or someone incredibly close to the whole gang.
