Certainly, the pairing of OddXSissi is not very strong, and derives mostly from a few select scenes from a few select episodes (mostly in the second season), many people have decided that this is a more likely relationship then OddXAeilita or OddXSam.
Why have people decided that OddXSissi is better then the others? Well, first consider their personalities. Both kids are very headstrong, and when they know what they want, they go for it and don't let go (Sissi with Ulrich, Odd with his friends). Also, they have similar tastes in music, have "unique" fashion sense, have good fighting skills (Sissi knows Pencake Silat (sp?), and Odd knows Lyoko fighting and Boxing (from the episode "Franz Hopper"). Other reasons why may include the facts that Aeilita is definitely with Jeremie, and after the episode "Rock Bottem," Sam never appeared again. Speculation says that she may have broken up with him or moved, but the chief writers have made no move (to my knowledge) as to what part (if any) Sam may play in the future.
There aren't many episodes with any sort of reference to the pairing, unfortunately. The first was "Just in time," where, as Yumi runs to find Odd, she asks Sissi where Odd is. She is visibly crying as she replies that he's trapped inside the school. Not much else happened until the episode "Déjà Vu," where Odd and Sissi were secretly dating online, but didn't know it. Odd even admitted that "whoever the person was," was a good match for him. At least, until later, when he arranged a meeting with the "Mystery girl," and lo and behold, it's Sissi. He stood her up, though. While this was the biggest event in the pairing's history, things did defrost a bit between the two after that episode. Other smaller events, such as Odd comforting Sissi after her XANA-interrupted s�ance in "Is anybody out there," and his casting of her in his movie in "Contact," seem to indicate a growing, if grudging, friendship the two are starting to gain for one another.
