Odd couldn't sleep. He was thinking. Thinking about something important. He knew what he was thinking about would upset his buddy, Jeremie. He liked Jeremie. He loved Aelita.

The next morning...

Jeremie awoke.

Just another day of cacultions to get my friends into the fith sector, Jeremie thought. Great. These are so boring! At least materilazation and the "anti-virus" were for Aelita.

He loved Aelita. But he couldn't tell her. He was afraid of rejection.

In the cafiteria... 

"Well guys," Odd said, "It's offical."

"What's offical? Yumi asked?

"The hot ceral here is super-de-duper!"

"What are you Odd?" Ulrich asked, "a four year old?"

"Hey! Anyway, Aelita?"

"Yes Odd?"

Could I talk to you in private after class? That is unless, XANA doesn't attack."

"Uh... Sure..."

After class...

"Okay Aelita," Odd rehearsed, " There's something we need to talk about. No... I should probably use a joke to tell her that- Ahh! Aelita."

Sure enough, Aelita was infront of him.

"Was there something you wanted to tell me?"

"Well yeah! I love you and-" Odd right there realizing he had admidded it.

"Odd," Aelita said," is that true?"

"Yes-"

Aelita touched her lips to Odd's and they kissed.

Odd blushed. 

So did Aelita.

A passing by Jeremie Bellpois took sight of this and herd the the conversation.

His heart was broken.

It had been two weeks since Odd and Aelita started dating. The went out whenever they got the chance. Jeremie was still recovering from a broken heart. The group had also lost the Sector 2 the Dessert Sector, to XANA on the last mission.

"Hey, princess," Odd said to Aelita. "What's new?"

"Nothing."

Look at them... Jeremie thought. So happy toghether. Maybe this was for the better. But doesn't my working on Aelita's materilazation program day and night for months count for anything? And I did the same thing for an anit-virus her when we thought there was a virus connecting her to XANA.

Just then,  in the fith sector of Lyoko a tower apeared... glowing red. 

Jeremie had had enough. He decided he would go to Lyoko and jump into the digatal void. It may end his life, but it would at least stop his heart from breaking. But how to get to Lyoko was the question. He'd have to ask Aelita.

"Aelita..." Jeremie asked. "Could you send me to Lyoko?"

"Sure. But why?"

Jeremie had already thought of this.
"To check it out. I've only been there to fight-"

"Same with Ulrich, Yumi and Odd."

"I wanna see the sights."

"Uhh.. Okay."

At the factory...

"Ready Jeremie?"

"Ready." Jeremie replied from one of the scanners.

"Transfer: Jeremie!
Scanner: Jeremie!
Virtualzation!"

On Lyoko, Jeremie landed right near the edge of the mountain sector.

"Jeremie... Like the sights?" Aelita asked. Then she noticed he was about to jump into the void.

"What are you doing!?"

"Ending my heartbreak!"

"Huh?"

"I knew it. You care about me as a friend. Nothing more. Don't bother with re-materalizing me. It's better for me this way."

And he jumped.

"So... Jeremie jumped into the digital void?" Ulrich asked, unable to belive what he just heard.

"Yeah..." Aelita responded glumly.

Aelita had called her friends and told them to come to the factory. The rest Aelita told them.

"Aelita," Odd began, "Did Jeremie mention why he wanted to jump into the void?"

"Something about me only liking him as a friend and heartbreak- Yes! He loves me! Odd I have to tell you something... I was only using you to get Jeremie jelous. Please understand."

Now it was Odd's turn to be heartbroken. "I need to think about this in my room at Kadic."

"Okay."

As Odd left, Aelita walked over to the keyboard and intiated "Code: Earth" to return Jeremie to Earth.

Aelita rushed to the scanner room to find Jeremie had passed out. After Jeremie woke, Aelita told Jeremie why she had gotten together with Odd.

"Well it worked. Oh and Aelita..."

"Yes Jeremie?"

Jeremie responded with a kiss.

Aelita merely blushed and smiled.

"Did you tell Odd yet?"

"Yeah. He was really upset. Not a joke to be heard."

"Well, let's go back to Kadic. I'd better get Yumi and Ulrich. Their upsairs in the lab."

Once the forsoume returned to Kadic, they found it in ruins.

And that's when they noticed the three materilazed Megatanks.
