Story Notes:
- I Do Not Own Code LYOKO or Ordinary Day

Just a day,
Just an ordinary day.
Just trying to get by.
Just a boy,
Just an ordinary boy.
But he was looking to the sky.
And as he asked if I would come along
I started to realize
That everyday you find
Just what he's looking for,
Like a shooting star he shines.

Yumi layed in the Japanese style bed and looked up at the ceiling.

He's Just a boy get over it. Yumi told herself, but that wasn't helping her from thinking different. He seemed much more then just a boy she sees in the hall. He is so cute when he's on the soccer field looking up at the clouds in the sky....SNAP OUT OF IT! Yumi told herself.

"He's just a boy." Yumi told herself out loud.

He said take my hand,
Live while you can
Don't you see your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand

After all the times he's saved her on LYOKO. She still turned him down.

And after you nearly kissed him on LYOKO, and you turn him down. Yumi told herself. Nothing ever went the way she planned. She really liked him. How come every time I open my mouth, the words don't come out the way I want them. Yumi thought.

"YUMI, Your BOOYYYFRIEND'S here." Hiroki called. Yumi payed no attendion to him. Stating to fall asleep on the bed.

And as he spoke, he spoke ordinary words
Although they did not feel
For I felt what I had not felt before
You'd swear those words could heal.
And as I looked up into those eyes
His vision borrows mine.
And I know he's no stranger,
For I feel I've held him for all of time.

Ulrich walked up and noiticed Yumi sleeping, tip toed over and tried to wake up.

"Yumi?" Ulrich called. Yumi ignored him and turned her back to him. "Yumi, Ulrich says wake up." Ulrich said playing with her.

"Yumi says no." Yumi murmured sleepily. Ulrich pushed a bit to get her up.

"Get up, I want to talk to you." Ulrich said.

"Can it wait?" Yumi asked.

"Nope." Ulrich said as Yumi sat up.

"What is it?" Yumi asked.

And he said take my hand,
Live while you can
Don't you see your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand
In the palm of your hand.

"Why did you only want to be friends?" Ulrich asked. Yumi looked over at him and thought it over, not knowing what to say.

"I never meant to say it." Yumi said.

"huh?" Ulrich asked.

"Well, lets just say when I try to say something, It's like someone else controling what I say. Someone who loves to see me suffer." Yumi started. "And, I'm a grade older then you are, It doesn't matter in my culture, but" Yumi stopped when Ulrich looked at her like she was crazy.

"I'll shut up now." Yumi said not wanting to say something she'd regret later.

Please come with me,
See what I see.
Touch the stars for time will not flee.
Time will not flee.
Can you see?

Ulrich's hands came over Yumi's and he locked eyes with her. She tilted her head in confusion.

"What are you doing?" Yumi asked.

"You'll see." Ulrich said.

Just a dream, just an ordinary dream.
As I wake in bed
And the boy, that ordinary boy
Or was it all in my head?
Did he asked if I would come along
It all seemed so real.
But as I looked to the door,
I saw that boy standing there with a deal.

Yumi was hopeing this wasn't a dream as Ulrich came closer to her one the bed. Until they were only centimeters apart.

What is he doing? Yumi thought. All she could feel was his breath on her lips.

Come on Ulrich, you can do this. Ulrich said mentally kicking himself. He closed the gap as their lips touched.

And he said take my hand,
Live while you can,
Don't you see all your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand
In the palm of your hand,
In the palm of your hand.

Yumi felt his hands shift to around her waist as her's wrapped around his neck. The teens broke up due to the ringing from Ulrich's pocket. Ulrich anwsered it.

"XANA attack." He told Yumi, who noded.

"As normal." Yumi said.

Just a day, just an ordinary day
Just trying to get by.
Just a boy,
Just an ordinary boy.
But he was looking to the sky.
