I have this friend who is...not so bright. You know, that kind that you seem to assume that they might have a mental problem? Well, he really got on my nerves for acting more idiotic then he used to. Like he overexceded his limit on being stupid, and reached the level of Dumb F***. I told him to stop acting like this. He said that he would do it, but it seems at though he forgets and acts up again. I started to ignore him and he kept on screaming "I'm sorry".
Now one would assume that it's "I'm sorry" and it's done. It's not the case for me. It aggrivates me when he says that. He knows this too well. Since I've known this kid for a while, everytime he says something and I don't reply fast enough he says "I'm sorry", and he says it A LOT.
Back on the case. Since I was ignoring him with his "Sorries" he finally came to his senses. He said "Can I talk to you". I said "You got 5 minutes". We talked about how things can change so we can be better friends again. I came to the conclusion that he must clean up his act, or this is not going to get settled, and that he was not going to talk to me unless I agree that he had actually changed. He naturally agreed, and that was it.
Now here is what is bothering me:
What if he does change and later down the road this whole scenario starts up again, what should I do?
