The "Mine" one is problematic however. You've used a piece drawn by a CL fanartist by the name of Son-Neko to make that. I honestly hope you asked her permission first to use that, otherwise it is art theft. Furthermore, you also have not given credit to the original artist in anyway either. Now I'm sure you didn't mean to do it, but please fix that as Art Theft is becoming a very big problem in the CL fan universe and it's not going to be appreciated very well here (as StarWay, myself and several others have been victimized by it). Thanks.

I'm afraid Mew is correct; the last image was made with fan art which, unless you have permission from the creator, is art theft.

This is not an issue of whether we like your images or not, SDL. Really. But theft is not okay. We realize you probably didn't know what you were doing was wrong, but even so you should be more careful. In the future, remember not to use pictures unless they're just raw screengrabs or the owner of those images has given you permission to use them. (If you don't, you could get into some fairly serious legal issues which I'm sure you don't want.)

I really didn't mean to sound angry or upset, Sissy Delmas Lover, but there has been alot of art theft within the CL Community and there are only so many ways of stopping it.

I know you probably didn't mean it, so I do hope you don't think I'm angry with you. I'm just letting you know so that you don't get into any further trouble, either here or with the original artist. I mean...I'm sure you'd feel really upset if you saw someone on another site claiming your pictures as their own, right? That's what we're trying to prevent, okay? ^_^

Firs tone:
I love that image of Yumi! I love the white/blue outline around her.
The image itself is an irregular size which is odd, since it's too small to be a wallpaper and too large to be a banner.
Why is there a border on three sides of the image? Maybe you could have Free Transformed or cropped the image or something to get rid of that black border.
The background image itself isn't too great; I try to avoid patterns. Download some brushes and practice using them setr at, oh, 15% Pressure white on a black background. Build up layers of brushes and get a unique background.

(Sorry, but I don't have time to critque all of the images)

I noticed a theme in your graphics: An image dragged atop a background and then not Anti-Aliased text over it.
Try setting the font to Smooth or Crisp (if you have Photoshop).
Try Gaussian Blur on the images, maybe 1.0-2.0.

What graphic program are you using?

Google is a great place to find images but just because you got them from Google doesn't always mean they're yours to use. I'm guessing that that is where you found Son-Neko's piece, and where you found those two anime style Hermione Granger pics. Please keep in mind though that it is still art theft if you use other artist's work in your icons, regardless of where you first found them. Those Hermione pieces came from this site and I'm not so sure the creator would appreciate you using them without their permission.

Again, I'm really not trying to be a big meanie about this. I'm just trying to let you know about what qualifies as art theft, and how to avoid it, alright?

Yes, SDL, if you post fanart, expect to be critiqued. It comes with the job of being a graphic designer.
If I may suggest something to you ... Depending on your financial stituation, I reccommed Adobe Photoshop Elements.
It's about $100USD and it'll be a vast improvment over naything you're currently using.
