Well, I wouldn't know if she was born in "Autumn" persay...although that's pretty good conjecture. *nods*
But yes, Yumi means "Bow" or "Beauty" and Akiko means "Autumn Child" or "Bright Child".
Her father's name, Takeo, means "Warrior", I believe too. ^^
...Which might explain the samurai armor they've got in their house. ;D
Hiroki means "Abundant Joy/Strength".

She is certainly the character with the biggest backstory, we know more about Aelita than any other character. More on that later. I admire Aelita's courage and intelligence, even though she has a stubborn streak. And, at the same time, she is rather innocent, or at least she was. These seemingly incompatible traits somehow work with Aelita, making her an interesting character.
Planet Cool wrote:Yesterday, I had a thought about Jim, and I can't help but wonder what you'll think of it. You know how he starred in that "Paco, the King of Disco" movie that was a huge flop? I was thinking that maybe it's a parody of Xanadu, which, as you may or may not know, is also a failed disco movie. Due to the title, I think there may be some kind of underhanded connection here, a sort of gag from the writers. Do you think I'm on to something?

Was this in a recent episode I missed?
I have an IQ of 147 and I am not nearly as smart as Jeremie. He probably has an IQ of 200 or above. (Sorry, I know that that was said very early in the thread; I just had to comment about it.)Skysong wrote:He's thirteen and he has a near-perfect grade average and an IQ probably in the 140s (120 and up means you are very, very smart).

I got a 133
very nice deduction, that definitely has some potential validity to it.
You managed to take every thing into account, besides the fact that Antea and Aelita's hair color is pink, but that has nothing to do do with it.
When Aelita first described herself to Jim, the first thing that popped into her head was "I'm Odd's cousin from Canada." Perhaps this is a bit of intuition about her past.Malkmusian wrote:They could be other. I know some Americans that are named Aelita.
