You do know the band is completely fictional right?
I'd say it's more along the lines that they chose a random rock band and decided to put it on a frequently-mentioned part of the show. I'm sure they could have done Linkin Park or Crush40 the same way.Got RoboCop? wrote:They're only there because they need a source of public interest to fuel CL. It's like what the Krusty the Klown show is to the Simpsons. Only there because they need something to talk about that characters have in common.
And, the SubSonics ARE a real band, it's just a coincidence that CL has the same name. See http://www.slovenly.com/subsonics.shtml if you don't believe.

To be honest, they've never scared my younger cousins, they were wondering why "In the end, it doesn't even matter." Don't you hate it when someone asks you an impossible-to-answer question? I don't even listen to the band, I actually like Crush40 better (no, not just because they do the songs to Sonic).Aelita wrote:Linkin Park probably would have ruined the show's reputation though =P Since Linkin would probably...like...scare little children...
They said that in the English version too, did they not? Yes, they did. I clearly remember her saying, "Aelita, Aelita Stones; like the rocker."The expression "like the rocker" was for the Spanish version of CL.
