So, even though she was in tenth grade with us, because the school didn't give her credit for the homeschooling she didn't have any credits at all going into tenth grade. To make up for it, she had to go to the tech school where the classes are super easy and you can get several more credits than you can at the high school.
The other reason I'm glad I wasn't homeschooled: you miss out on a lot of stuff when you don't go to an actual school. You miss out on a lot of opportunities to meet other kids and make friendships. And what about any friends you might have from your neighborhood that talk to you about some cool thing they're doing at school? Like a talent show or something. You don't get to do or watch stuff like that if you're not in an actual school.
So I myself will never, ever homeschool any children I might one day have.

I'm taking classes through Alpha Omega, and if I graduated with them I'd get a diploma (but I'll graduate with the local school).
I have all ways had problems with people, but home schooling has helped me to focus on my school work and not have to deal with boyfriends/girlfriends, unfriendly students, temptations and all that stuff.
As a Christian, home schooling has helped me focus on my relationship with God. I go to youth group and sunday school and my youth group gets together about twice a month and we play Christians and Communists and play games and have loads of fun.
I think home schooling is a way to focus on yourself and your education.
I like it, but I also need to have more socialization, which is why I'm going back to public school.
