I think I might be held back this year and its 8th grade and I want to go to 9th grade and go to high school, but my grades suck and I am not doing good in my subjects and I don't want to be held back

For this problem, there is but one solution: Work hard to get your grades up. If that means sacrificing CL for the rest of the school year, I say go for it. Being held back a year may entirely ruin your reputation, and not to mention your future life, when you're handing your future boss your resume`. Being held back a year won't look good.

will i think it runs in my family, my mom and dad got held back for a year and my dad got a good job he gets around $2,000 a mouth so thats good

well regardless of that, getting held back is not a safe proposition for your future while you shouldn't miss out on season 3 of CL missing a few eps of season 2 that you've already seen won't kill you

You're thinking a bit too lax on this subject. You need to buckle down and study. At this level of schooling, getting held back is very serious. Your social status for the rest of your life could be skewed, because you will be a year late in entering college and eventually the job market.
